I hired ********* **** as a book coach and editor. She is now successfullyselfpublished. She’s rebranded six times in three years. I was originally given five coaching sessions, but because I paid invoices “early” and she claimed the money was tight, I got two extra sessions. The emails state that seven bookings were confirmed, but not all of them happened. She doubled booked appointments, randomly canceled them, or just didn't show up to the sessions. At least two weeks of the action plan we never went over.
the editing contract stated that she would be the one editing my stuff even though she had a trainee edit my manuscript. She had my manuscript for 15 weeks with no updates and when I asked questions, she was very rude and unprofessional.

She bullies her clients and gaslights them. It’s very much like you are in an abusive relationship. It is always “I’ve done nothing wrong,” “You hired me! I know everything,” and “Without me you will fail!”.

At the beginning of our professional, she did reduce her rates for me for the coaching sessions and the edits as well. But she held this over my head the entire time afterward. I did not ask for her to discount anything. She offered.

After walking on eggshells around her, because she sent multiple aggressive paragraphs responses and her breaking promises, she finally ended things. She told me I was not allowed to work with the people she connected me within the industry. I did inform these people of what was said to me when clients left *********** service and they had no idea. Editing report was only 3 pages 4 a 295 book.

After being kicked from commucating with her, I sent her an email asking about my manuscript.

I tagged an attorny in the email as I knew I was going to get a nasty reply. In the email with the attorney, she threatened me with a lawsuit because of a smear champion. I am baffled by this response. I am allowed to contact an attorney. I too have screenshots and screen recordings of our interactions.
