    We purchased this security system in July of last year so about to come up on a year of having the service and we have been so displeased the entire time we have had it. First thing that should have told us to not go through is that in order to hook up our outside cameras the installer drilled a hole in the side of our house in order to feed the wire through at outlet so that it could be plugged into an outlet inside the house. We set up the app and soon after we found that we were only getting notification when someone was already at our door or was leaving our door (which someone came out and adjusted that for us but it is still spotty). Next thing was that I would look at our back camera from my phone and the stream would immediately time out so I would hit try again and it would happen again. A tech came out and said it was just because the back camera was so far from the hub that the connection was not the best so they could instead hook it directly to the wifi but if our power went out for more than 5 minutes or if we changed anything with our wifi then it would disconnect and they would have to physically come out in order to reconnect it. Now our front camera is having the same issue and I have screenshots of it streaming out a minute apart so it would not stream for even a minute even though I was at home, our internet was working perfectly and the hub is only separated by one wall to the front camera and has such close proximity that there should be no issues. The biggest thing that upset me was I put in multiple request through the app for someone to fix it and for weeks heard nothing then when I called all they said was "people rely on apps so much you have to call for service request, the app does not work". He claims that everyone with the service knows to call but we were told that you could do it through the app and not that we had to call. We got this service because of how convenient it was but nothing works. They will not let us out unless we pay

    I had vector security for multiple years, and had them come out to install a camera and smart door lock, but when they came they said they couldn't install the camera and instead gave me a new panel. That was in 2020. They never mentioned upgrading my system would resign me into a new contract. I never signed a new contract when they came out and they never told me I was being locked in. When I tried to cancel my service, they tried to charge me a large amount that I cannot afford. I refuse to pay any fees because I was not made aware of the conditions of the upgrade. I'm very unhappy with the customer service and care that comes from this company. I am 75 years old with multiple sclerosis and feel they took advantage of me.
