    Absolute worst company for security out there. They lied to my boyfriend and i about being in a contract. We were told we needed to sign for a ‘non-fluctuating’ rate. We agreed it would be nice to not have to guess at pricing and so forth. This somehow put us in a 5 year contract? Also, was told multiple times we could cancel whenever as we wanted if it wasn’t what we needed. Since being installed the back camera has never worked. When contacted about it they proceeded to hang up, after multiple emails and phone calls I asked them to come get the equipment, they refused only to tell me “we’re a billion dollar company, you’re not breaking contract.” A contract no one knew we were in until then. The only way we can break contract with them is if we pay over 4,000$. Meaning the rest of our contract plus some. They refuse to get the equipment from us, refuse to fix the equipment we already have, and refuse to break contract. Right now I’m paying 70$ a month for 1 camera to work. In the “contract” it states that the equipment has a 1 year warranty and when on the phone they claim it has a lifetime warranTy. The company as a whole is a scam.

    Very undependable and poorly trained technicians. We only asked for new remotes as ours had worn out. After we received them and notified Vector, they sent out a tech. He did not know how to program the remotes. He even googled and called another tech. He took the keyboard panel off the wall and also worked on the power box. Had to give up. Sent another tech days later and the same. Said our system was too old for this. After a few more days, another tech came out and tried to get it fixed and said he did and the system would start beeping hours later. I would silence the beep and hours later it would start again. The system was working fine till this. We have left any messages, calls and emails and have yet to hear anything from them. We went a month with no service and I have a disabled wife and also music equipment I need guarded. We already went with another company and we need Vector to come and get their equipment. A total nightmare over just getting 2 new remotes.
