I was in and out of hospital for surgeries and in hospital for 10 days when I checked account while in hospital. This credit union charged me $30 in courtesy fees a total of $150 in courtesy fees. They returned $60 and kept the rest. Right now I am not to happy with this credit union.

This has to be the worst customer service I have ever dealt with in my life. I have paid my car note on time every single month since June of 2021. My note is $418 and I have paid $420 a month every single month. May of this year, I accidentally put $410 instead of $420 and they reported it as being 30 days late to my credit bureau. My score went down 56 points. I owed $7.00 past due and not one phone call or message or mail letting me know. Have talked to three people and they all said well you were late so nothing we can do. The customer service is insane. I will never do business again with them. I will tell everyone I see not to do business with them as well.La Capitol Federal Credit Union

Research was completed and La Capitol Federal Credit Union found that the loan payment made by the member was received by the credit union via ACH and that the monthly obligation was not met at the time. There were attempts by the credit union to make the member aware. La Capitol has since spoken to the member.
