Regret using this business. Won't release my truck till insurance pays them. The truck has been fixed for a week and they said they will not release it until the insurance company pays them. I have been calling the insurance company and *****'s relaying information and he still will not release it. Never again!

Prior to arrival customer stated they had Carshield Extended Warranty policy. Once vehicle arrived they had multiple issues; one being ac which car shield would cover and the other being brakes which vehicle's owner's daughter would be covering those repairs. After diagnosis we went through all the approval process with car shield for ac work and also quoted out brake repairs to owner's daughter to which she approved. Once work was completed we submitted claim to carshield 6/18. 6/19 We reached out to carshield where they marked the job approved but no check number available and was it could take ***** days to follow up 6/28 to see if a check number would be available. *****'s daughter called to pick up and was upset that we couldn't release vehicle without a check number or payment date. ***** reached out to carshield again 6/24 where she was given an approval amount so she called the owner to let her know she would release the vehicle prior to check receipt. *****'s daughter WAITED UNTIL SATURDAY 6/29 TO PICK UP VEHICLE BUT THEN REFUSED TO PAY THE ***** DEDUCTIBLE FOR CARSHIELD REPAIR WHICH ******* WAS AWARE OF. 7/3 ******* CALLED STATING SHE DIDN'T KNOW WHEN SHE'D BE ABLE TO PICK UP VEHICLE DUE TO NOT BEING ABLE TO RELY ON THE PEOPLE SHE THOUGHT SHE COULD. 7/8 RECEIVED WARRANTY CHECK PAYMENT LEAVING REMAINING BALANCE OF BRAKES & ***** DEDUCTIBLE OWED. WARRANTY CHECK RECEIVED 7/8. OWNER PICKED UP VEHICLE 7/11/24. WE WILL NO LONGER BE WORKING WITH CAR SHIELD TO AVOID THESE TYPE OF ISSUES IN THE FUTURE.
