BUYERS BEWARE - Northshore Toyota!I found the car I wanted on Toyota's website & spoke to a sales manager. I gave them a deposit & told him that I wanted rubber floor mats instead of carpeted ones & he said he would switch them for me (same price). I told him I didn't want the dealership emblem on the ******** assured me they take those off of cars all the time with no problem or paint damage. The car came in & I reminded the salesman about the emblem. He took it to the back & they chipped the paint. They tried to touch it up & it looked terrible. They said I could either get my car back from CarMax (I had sold it a few hours before for $3000 more than NST offered me for trade) or take the car & then bring it back for them to have someone fix the paint. SM said there was a vehicle coming in a couple of ********* could have that one, & I could use one of their rental cars. I asked how much it would cost me and he said "Nothing, we'll take care of it". I kept track of my car coming in on Toyota.com, and saw that the Dealer Advertised Price was $1069 less than the *** price. I called SM and told ******** said unless I saw it on their website, it was wrong. I looked & the lower price was there. SM texted me, saying the sales manager was trying to call me with "good news". I called & he said I could have the **** but I could tell he wasn't happy about it. The next day I went in, thinking I'd just go to finance. SM came over & had a piece of paper that had "changes" on it. They had added $789 to the cost of the car and said it was for car rental ************ mats, both of which I had been told were no charge to me! The finance guy tried to appease me by trying to justify the charges. I wanted to get out of there, so I signed it. I called Toyota **************** & a sales manager called me, giving me the same BS, but the bottom line is that they are LIARS & UNTRUSTWORTHY. If someone else walked in that day, they would've gotten the sale price.

Customer purchased a blue 2023 RAV4 XLE Premium and was to take delivery on 10/12/2023. Customer requested for dealer to remove dealer logo emblem from the back of the vehicle. During this process the paint was scratched. Dealer offered to replace the vehicle with another blue 2023 RAV4 XLE Premium that was ordered. Customer had use of a dealer rental until new vehicle came in for delivery on 10/25/2023. Customer signed new contract and took delivery on that date at a price lower than the original contract saving the customer over $1,000.

Be prepared for incompetence and excuses! When a salesman makes a huge error in your transaction and the management's only way to fix it is to proclaim that THEY had NO intention of eating a $1000 mistake that they made and that I would have to redo my loan...blah blah blah blah. It was pathetic! The whole time telling me "I hear what you are saying" without hearing a single thing I said.I gave this place three chances to sell me a vehicle and this is how I am treated. NEVER AGAIN Northshore Toyota!

Customer put down a $1,000 deposit on a new vehicle on February 10, 2023. Customer purchased and took delivery of the new vehicle on February 17, 2023. In the original paperwork the $1,000 deposit was used as a down payment. After contract was signed customer wanted dealership to refund his deposit. Dealership informed customer that we could refund his deposit that was used as a down payment but we would need to redo the contact to make the amount financed $1,000 more and adjust the monthly payment to reflect the difference in the amount financed. The selling price of the vehicle would remain the same amount. By refunding the deposit to the customer only the amount financed and the monthly payment would change to account for the difference. Customer decided not to change the contract and accepted delivery of his new vehicle.

Northshore Toyota sold me a car knowing it has bad brakes and refuses to take responsibility for it.

Customer purchase a used 2015 ****** Rogue on January 7, 2023. The dealer completed a used vehicle multi point inspection to make the vehicle ready for sale on December 29, 2022. At that time brake pad wear indicated 8mm remaining on all four pads. There is nothing to indicate that this vehicle had bad brakes at the date of sale. If the brakes had been bad Northshore Toyota would have done a brake job on the vehicle before it was sold.

service dept has implemented charges like diagnostic fee even on warranted cars.this was the only way to find out what had happened when I complained about charge and it's validity they argued with me. and said they would not write up my car and gave me my keys back. this is a quintessential example of dealers trying to make more money at. the customer expense. This dealers reviews are not best. I have always had reasonable feeling about this dealership this was a shock

Customer thought there was an issue with gas milage during a 50 mile round trip on the interstate when he averaged 18.5 mpg instead of 27 mpg. He took pictures of the dash screen as documentation to indicate the problem. Customer did not agree to pay dealer's diagnostic fee because he knew what the problem was but he needed to know how the dealer could fix it. ASM advised the customer that in order to write a repair order the customer would have to agree to pay a diagnostic fee that would be waived if the problem was covered under warranty. Customer would not agree to pay the diagnostic fee so he was told by the ASM that we would not be able to write a repair order.
