An absolutely horrible company. I have been discriminated and harrassed for over 3 years about my double gates. When I asked the property manager "how can you enfore a rules that isn'teven in writing?" Her answer was "well even if it's not written in the rules we can tell you no and put a violation on your account. But at the same time there are other properties that have gates like I want and they have never been hit with a violation or fines. Then when you tryband talk to the "property managers" they will never reply to emails and always conveniently in meetings to where they can never answer your call and of course never return them. The few times I have talked to the property manager I can always here kids playing in the background like she is at a park or somewhere else. Nothing but a passive aggressive attitude from her and "acts" oblivious to the other properties when I point them out to her.Community Management, LLC

Hi *****,
Thank you for reaching out and sharing your concerns.
We want to acknowledge that the fines related to your double gate have been waived, and your recent payment has been applied toward your assessment balance, per Board approval.
We understand your frustration regarding the gate violation. Please know that enforcement is based on the community’s governing documents and board approval. While we can’t discuss specific cases due to privacy policies, we are happy to look into any properties you believe may be in violation if you have an address you'd like to share.
With regard to communication, we strive to return all calls and emails in a timely manner. If you have experienced difficulty reaching the community manager, we sincerely apologize. Please know your concerns are being taken seriously and we are committed to improving our responsiveness wherever possible.
We appreciate your time and hope this helps clarify the situation. Please feel free to reach out with any additional questions.Scott L

This response is absolutely comical. First of all I would like to quote article 9 section 9.06 in short it says "any rules and regulations shall be reasonably and uniformly applied." Community management is in violation of that bylaw. For the past 3 years community management has unfairly applied restrictions to me but not the rest of the neighborhood. Article 3 section 3.30 "FENCES" the amendment that was added on 6/30/2023 it says "No double gates will be permitted." That sentence right there (that was added after I argued with the ACC about my gates) is pretty self explanatory but yet community management and the board have approved 3 other homes for double gates. 3 violations that community management is not reporting. Article 3 section 3.20 3rd paragraph first paragraph "Every residential lot SHALL have one Magnolia x Solangiana, Saucer Magnolia planted in the front yard at a minimum of 5'-0" from the sidewalk located between the side walkway and the front of the home. A violation that community management is not reporting. Article 3 section 3.22 Artificial grass, plants, or other artificial vegetation MIST NOT BE PLACED OR MAINTAINED upon the exterior portion of any Lot. Community management is in violation for applying these restrictions fairly. Article 3 section 3.32 first sentence "no carports shall be permitted." Article 3 section 3.28 No structure of a temporary character, trailer, basement, shed, tent, or shack shall be used at any time either for temporary or permanent usage." Community management is in violation of not reporting the resident that has a visible pop of canopy in their driveway for months now. So you're response "Please know that enforcement is based on the community governing documents and board approval." That statement is an absolute joke. As I told Megan Moore (the few times she actually answered my calls) whoever it is that comes out to do the neighborhood inspections is either blind, ignorant, or playing favorites and over looking all of these violations on purpose. That is why I have been discriminated against and it is absolutely obvious that is what's going on no matter how many times you say " due to privacy policies we can't discuss anything about other residential property." It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure it out. If I can find these violations please give me a good explanation as to why your inspectors keep overlooking the biased violations.Review fromNickole H

******* ****** Code Enforcement policy not enforced:
My property value has decreased in Ocean Springs, MS because the HOA allows a home owner in the community to stow and repair heavy equipment: Tractor Trailers, Tow Trucks, cars. A vehicle repair and pick-up shop in driveway. Day and night.
I have sent pictures and for the past five years to no avail. Also sent letter to the Federal Trade Commission so they are aware of the situation.
I also have not received a copy of my complaints I requested recently for the past 5 yrs.
Staff only visits community once a month and show no interest in maintaining a once idyllic community.
The board members do not have the authority and are appointed for 2 year terms. The problem is hidden and has to be "smoked out."
I have addressed this and will submit an addendum to my FTC report. Sooner or later the "Feds" will catch up with them.
The Community Management, LLC is just being paid to provide cover and do what they do. Most of the responses listed is indicative of that.Community Management, LLC

Hi *******
It's my understanding that you have spoken with your Community Association Manager who explained how violations in your community work and how we have to proceed in these cases. Her supervisor also reached out and left a voicemail. It's important to note that we work at the direction of the board and are contracted to run the day to day, not "cover up" anything. Your community has rules in place and we send those violations out as required. The condition of your community is very important to us and we are doing our very best to address and enforce the restrictions of the community.

Hi *****,
I apologize that you did not receive the level of customer service you were expecting. The management software we utilize recently rolled out an update to the homeowner portal. At that time you would have been required to sign in again. I see a number of portal password resets in your history since 5/5/24, 2 of which were on the 23rd when you called in. One of our CST reps did call today to follow up and to make sure you were able to gain access to your account. Regarding your comment on "incompetence bordering criminal activity", we take these concerns very seriously. If you would like to provide more specific information, we are happy to investigate this further. The only issues currently notated in your file are the issues you've had with the password to your homeowner portal. If there are bigger concerns that have not been addressed, please let us know so we can handle then appropriately. Thank you for your time.Review fromBR K

1 starNever let these people manage your property. They lie, steal, and harass you. This company has brought our homes values down since they've taken over. They are currently operating illegally in my neighborhood. I hope others do not make the mistake and hire these crooks.Review fromJoseph C

Tried to work.with them. Evidently they don't document things very well and tend too forgot that the rest of the world doesn't move as quickly as they do. They also only selectively enforce what the want on who they want.Community Management, LLC

Hi ******,
I have looked at your account and it appears there are no outstanding issues or concerns. I can see some old items that have been addressed and closed. Regarding notices that are sent out, there are timelines in place that are outlined in the governing documents that we are required to follow per our contract with the community. While I can assure you that we would never selectively choose homeowners to send notices to, every situation is unique. Depending on the situation, we are able to reach out and request extensions or exceptions from the board. If there are ever concerns, we encourage you to reach out to your manager or our customer support via the homeowner portal or call our customer support team. We appreciate the feedback and we are always available to answer any of your questions you might have.Review fromBrad G

1 starThere has not been any transparency about the issues in the community, I have made several phones about issues and have not gotten anywhere. Now they have blocked my phone number from calling them and told me everything has to be submitted through the portal that they can not talk to me on the phone. I have submitted questions on the portal and have not gotten any answers. I find it very offensive that they blocked my number from calling them, It is like they are trying to hide something.Review fromClint E

1 starAbsolute garbage HOA. All HOAs are a scam, but this is one of the worst. I unfortunately have them as my personal home HOA as well as 2 of my rental properties. They will put off your extremely urgent issues as long as they can (I'm still waiting for a resolution at this time for one of my rentals for my tenant and her child). However, they will drive around neighborhoods and fine you if your lawn hasn't been mowed in a couple of days or if you left your trashcan out too long. There's unfortunately nothing you can do to hold these people accountable and they use that to their full advantage.Review fromMaria M
