We just purchase our RV with the Hammond team, and I want to say, thank you!
We had a previously bad experience at one of their other locations, and they went above and beyond to make things right for me and my family!
I want to thank Jeff, Brandon, Joe, Tim, Chris, and Kerri. I hope I didn't miss anyone. We left Hammond today with our new Avalanche and we are very pleased with they customer service! We recommend Team Hammond!! This long drive from TX was definitely worth it!!! Thank you all!!! We can wait to start making those memories with the the family!!!Great American RV Superstores

Our RV is one year old, and has been with the service department in Hammond for half that time. In August, we brought it in for minor repairs and have been waiting on parts ever since. We understand that parts get back ordered, but one of the parts finally came in, and was broken while being installed.
We apprecieate the texts keeping us informed of the status of the repairs, but surely you can understand how heartbreaking it is to retire from teaching after 33 years only to have your travel dreams postponed because of parts.Great American RV Superstores

We have reviewed all possible resolutions with the parts team and the manufacturer, but this is one of those circumstances where we have to wait for the specific part. 1 starIF YOU WANT YOUR WHOLE FAMILY TO BLOW UP BECAUSE THEY NEVER PREFORMED MAINTENANCE ON THEIR UNITS AND THEN SELL IT TO YOU
WHATEVER YOU DO NEVER BUY A CAMPER FROM Great American RV SuperStores or Great American RV SuperStores they will sell you junk and tell you it’s not their problem!!!! They keep your camper for weeks and never get back to you! Dixie rv may have changed their name to Great American RV SuperStores but there is nothing GREAT about them! They are rip offs! Don’t talking to the managers, they don’t care!! He will change whatever you say around and make him look good when it was not even close to what you said. We had problems with our Hideout - By Keystone brand spanking new camper since the moment we rolled it off the lot! Begged to return and get another one on the same day, that was actually in good condition and they brushed us off and refused! Now we still can’t camp because the LEMON camper they sold us is back in the shop! Roof has tons of leaks! Mind you it’s brand new!! See pictures for all proof you need! Again DONT EVEN SHOP THERE THEY ARE THE ABSOLUTE WORSE PLACE TO PURCHASE AN RV OF ANY KIND!I’d rather sleep in a damn tent!
Ps pictures actually even come from their workers who said when dropped off they have never seen something this bad before on something brand new, and stated this unit should have never been sold like this!!! I will post this multiple times a day till we see justice!!

Here is a run down of some of our issues with in the first 1 hour of having this camper
Kitchen sink drain was never attached or connected flooded camper, hot water heater broken, awning broken and would close all the way in, ac was leaking out of two rusted screws. Fan in bathroom broken, scratched side of the unit, now the roof is leaking, oh and had a gas leak from the main into the camper almost blew us all up! But this thing is brand new!Review fromPete M

Well I'm forced to give one star. I would actually give them a minus 5 stars if I could. I had an issue on my 2022 Grand Design travel trailer my Wife and I purchased from their store in Columbus, MS. I took our trailer in on September 3, 2022 to be repaired. Here it is October 19, 2022 and still waiting for ONE swing arm to be fix. Seems like a minor repair. I have made the following calls:
2 to Grand Design - they were great in providing the information needed to get my camper fix.
5 calls to the home office of Great American RV with promises that they never kept. The last call was on October 12, 2022 and was told they would called me back that afternoon. I am still waiting on that call 8 days later. I was also told the service manager would call 10/12/22. I called the service manager 2 days later.
8 calls to there store in Columbus, MS. Let me start by tell you to NEVER do business with Great American RV in Columbus, MS or any of their other stores. Once they make the sell it's screw you. On my first trip I had an issue and I called them. Yes you're correct, they were no help. They do not know the products they sale. I figured the issue out on my own.
With this issue with the awning arm has been a nightmare. I have never been lied to so much and told so much ** in my life about this issue. The service manger is just one of the problems with this situation.
I will do every in my power to steer people away from this company and their service department.Great American RV Superstores

1 starI wouldn’t recommend this “business” to my worst enemy. We purchased a brand new camper a little over a month ago and have had nothing but problems and are now being avoided! Something within the camper busted and caused the entire inside to flood. We took it back; they “fixed” it, yet the camper still has moisture in it and all the bottom cabinets are swelling from it. My husband and I have purchased several RV's and campers throughout our years and have never had a dealership that goes above and beyond to help in sales, service and information.
I am so impressed with their willingness to help when in a pinch or just in general service. And they are all so very friendly.
If you are ever considering a purchase, I would highly recommend this store and they have great inventory to chose from.

My husband and I have been Rving for almost 30 years, this is our 5th RV purchase. Hands down this is the absolute best experience we have ever had. Great American RV in Breaux Bridge LA has so many kind and helpful employees. From the ladies at the front desk to our awesome salesman **** *********(and the sales managers) to the service staff (Bri and her crew), ******* the delivery coordinator, Theresa in finance, everyone we came in contact with during our recent purchase of our first class A, were so friendly and helpful. They make you feel like part of a family not just another customer or sale to make. This is the best dealership we have ever done business with and we will be returning here for all our services. Defuniak Springs store. What was supposed to be a simple service turned out to be a nightmare. The day I dropped it off the person at the service desk took my information and the list of things I wanted done. She walked out to my camper with me and wrote down my camper info. She said they'd call me the following week with a quote. This was first thing in the morning so it wasn't busy. After waiting 3 weeks without being contacted I was about to call to see what was going on when I received a strange message on Facebook from the general manager. He said no one knew about my camper and they didn't know who it belonged to so he looked up my camper tag to find my name. He took my info and what I wanted done again, but told me they don't normally work on campers that weren't sold from there. I think this is a very basic question that should've been asked when I initially made the appointment. About a week later, I was contacted and told a technician would look at it and give me a quote. It took about a month to get the quote. Come to find out they couldn't do half the services I requested, which seems like simple information to know upfront by the service department and could easily be communicated to the customer ahead of time. When I picked it up no one went out to the camper with me to show me what they did. When I inspected my camper, I noticed that all they did was put clear sealant over the old seals. Didn't even clean the old seals. So now dirt, mold, and old seals are stuck under clear hard sealant. This company had my camper for 3 months and looks like they cut corners on the sealing. I am very unsatisfied. No one apologized or offered anything for my inconvenience and their horrible service. There is no way I'll ever do business with this store again. I've already sent my complaint to the company when they sent the email with survey for the service follow up.Great American RV Superstores
