      Customers in the Lafayette/Acadiana region who receive daily home delivery of the Acadiana Advocate newspaper, a subsidiary of Capital Press, are forced to pay full price (well over $800 a year) for home delivery of the paper. This is the same amount paid by similar home delivery customers of The Advocate in Baton Rouge and New Orleans. However, customers of the Acadiana edition are expected to pay the same subscription fees as customers of the Baton Rouge and New Orleans editions while receiving far less news and sports coverage on a daily basis. The only difference between the Acadiana, Baton Rouge, and New Orleans editions of the Advocate, other than subscribers of the Acadiana Advocate having to pay the same for less, is each edition covers the local news of that particular region. As far as world and national news and national sports and box scores, customers of the Acadiana Advocate are denied a considerable amount of this coverage but are expected to nonetheless pay that full price. I ask for fairness in the price I pay or the coverage I receive.
