    On July 27, 2023 we paid Mr. ****** of Romero’s Interiors & Trim half of the full payment as a deposit to have him reupholster two cushions, a sofa and four valences in our rv. Mr.****** assured us that the job was going to be done by the following month.

    For him to complete the job, he had to come to our house to get the sofa and valences out of the camper. We live only 1 mile away from his shop.

    Mr. ****** completed 1/3 of the work in September which were the cushions. We have been waiting for him to complete the rest of the job since then.

    He provided multiple different excuses since. We have proof of all the excuses. All the communication with him since September was by text messages. He told me many times he was coming to get the sofa and valences but never came. We even offered to bring the camper to him but he refused by providing other excuses.

    He was informed March 2024 that we needed the work completed before our long road trip June 1st.

    It is now May 30th and the job is still not completed. He has refused to give us our money back from the down payment. He said that he would give us the fabric by leaving it outside of his shop. My response was that he shouldn’t leave the material outside where anyone could steal it.
    I ask him to give us a time that we could go by and pick it up but still have not gotten an answer.

    At this moment, he owns us $616 or a less amount of money if giving the fabric needed to finish the repairs of the sofa and the valences.

    Morning,with this customer there was an invoice created and a deposit was taken at 1300.With this deposit there was materials and supplies ordered for the nook cushions and the sofa as well as the valances.Now the nook cushions were reupholstered and the valances and sofa were trying to be scheduled in.The issue was when I was available to do the sofa and valances the customer had camping trips so that delayed the job and when they were camping my schedule was to full to take the sofa and valences in.On this job to help the customer I had discounted 400 dollars on the sofa alone as well as me paying the taxes and it had gotten to the point with trying to move those job along I was going to go to there home and disassemble the sofa and valances myself which is something I do not do because of the time it takes.So how is it she is requesting a full refund when I have done work and ordered all the materials for the job.Guess I am to just give my labor,supplies and all the materials away.I have try to accommodate the customer way more then anyone I know would do,they can't wait till I can get to do the pieces so I ask her to pick up all her materials so she could possibly find someone else to complete the work.Sorry for the delay but I'm only one person doing the work of 5 people.Hopefully she will be able to find someone because there isn't many good upholstery left.

    I am rejecting this response because:

    This complaint to BBB was to prevent people for not doing business with him.  His responses is the same excuses and false informations. 
    The part that’s is true is that we got the material but we paid way more than the actual value. I just wished I had read the others comments about this business on BBB  before I gave him my money

    On May 4, 2022, I paid $2803.00 to Brian ****** @ Romero's Interiors and Trim to replace the interior of my car. (carpet, seat covers, seatbelts, visors, etc.) I have been in contact with him the most recent communication being June 21 when he told me he would deliver the carpet he ordered and refund me my money because he has not started the job. He has not delivered the carpet nor refunded my money.
