they are charging us for their projects, claim they can't adjust nor read meters its against ********* meter was outdated, they tore my entire yard up, to dig the sidewalk up..I have a mud puddle as a yard. Ontop of this my bill is 870, my meter is off by over 1million, i called for a reread and adjustment, I am told pay what they say its against their policy to do a reread and adjustment this is not something they do. I can for a plumber to say i dont have a leak or i do and then they will adjust it. This months bill is only 222, I did nothing at all. something someone needs to stop this. Everything about it is illegal and is protected against in our laws but nobody does anything about it. Im sick of it

Read the reviews online, this company is probably ran by the mafia. The water department of Jefferson Parish ********* should be fined closed and imprisoned.

I wouldn't even give one star. I've been without water since March and Jefferson parish water company took my deposit, then came back to say we owe the water company for a **** that we didn't incur. The water was on when we moved in so I was under there assumption that if was on front me paying the deposit. Jefferson parish water company then sent me a letter saying that everyone in the house owes the water company and can't get water until matters are paid. I have 5 small children in home and a broken knee. I don't know what to do but I know something is nt right with the way I'm being treated and been without water this long with my kids. Please help because I've never experienced anything like this before

My Jefferson parish bill more than doubled for 2 months in a row with the same water consumption without any notice of rate increases. I am currently paying over 100$ bills from my regular 50$ bills. This is wayabove the 9 percent inflation rate and should be dropped to keep water consumption obtainable for the avg household budget
