      I called Peoples Health in early December to verify whether I had funds available for some greatly needed dental care and whether my Plan would cover the cost of the work. I asked questions and repeated my concern several times to the Peoples health Rept. I was informed yes it would cover, that my Plan covers full cost of my dental care up to $3000 per year and that I had $2600 available in the Plan. I was referred to the specialist Dr. ******** where I made an appointment and services were provided. Dr. ******** billed Peoples for reimbursement to me for the amount paid for services. Now Peoples Health says they cannot pay for my services. I used my household budget in advance expecting to reimburse other household cost as soon as I got reimbursed. I have spoken with at least 10 Advocates at People's health with no success. I have filed a grievance with people's health with no success. Can someone help me get $1070 from my Plan reimbursed to me by Peoples health immediately. My bills are due, I am carrying this debt, and the funds are greatly needed.       Part of my benefits includes utility bill pay. For four months the website is incorrect. I have been given 11 different phone numbers to call. There is no number for the office. Sometimes they say I have no benefits and can't find my account. This is not ********************** related it is to pay utility bills. There are no supervisors to speak to, When I posted a bad review on line an exec. advised me to call a phone number that doesn't work. This company is now owned by United Health Care but my plan is still Peoples Health. I am 75 years old and cannot be put through this.

      When *****, I do not know his last name, knocked on my door representing Peoples Health, he wanted me to sign a contract with Peoples Health. I had been on ******** since 2009 and did not want to change because of the fact of exactly what ended up happening which is problems, but after i found out i could get $105 a month paid towards my electric bill, I decided to make the change over after ***** reassured me that if any problems occurred he would take care of them and he gave me his personal phone number and told me I could call any time on any day. When I got my electric bill and tried to get the $105 taken off my bill, I was told my electric company was not on their list, so I contacted ***** and he said he would take care of it. I got a call from a supervisor from Peoples Health, and she did a three-way call between me, her, and *********, who I then found out is a company Peoples Health contracted with for the ones who were in charge of getting the $105 off my electric bill. We were told the problem would be corrected. I gave them several days and tried again and still could not get the $105 off my electric bill. Since then, I have contacted *****, Peoples Health Solv **** many, many, many times and have got nowhere. Each one of the three blames it on the other one. i signed a contract with Peoples Health and I expect them to live up to it. If it was me, the consumer who failed to live up to my end of a contract, there would be no excuse good enough, I would be penalized. I want and expect exactly what I was told I would get.

      We were finally able to speak to the member and find a resolution.  We apologized for the confusion with the sales agent and vendor regarding her over the counter funds,and informed her she can pay her utility bill at the ******* Money Center.  We also advised the member that she can use the funds at retailers like Dollar General, Krogers, CVS, and ********* for over the counter and healthy food items.  She was unaware that she could use her card at these retailers, and was previously only ordering items from the catalog for home delivery.  The member thanked us for the outreach and appeared satisfied with our resolution.

      I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.

       THERE WAS NO SOLUTION MADE TO MY COMPLAINT. THE **** ON THE ***** GAVE ME OTHER OPTIONS. THE ONE AND ONLY REASON I SIGNED ON WITH PEOPLES HEALTH IS BECAUSE *****, THE MAN WHO CAME TO MY HOME, TOLD ME THAT I COULD GO ONLINE EVERY MONTH AND GET $105 TALEN OFF MY ELECTRIC BILL. THAT IS THE AGREEMENT I SIGNED ON TO AND THAT IS WHAT I EXPECT. IF THE SHOE WERE ON THE OTHER FOOT AND I DID NOT PAY WHAT I OWED THEM FOR MEDICAL CARE, THEY WOUD HAVE TURNED ME OVER TO A DEBT COLLECTER AND RUINED MY CREDIT. I EXPECT AND DESERVE TO BE GIVEN WHAT I SIGNED ON FOR AND NOTHING LESS.

      I have medical insurance through Peoples Health. My birthday is 01/21/1951. I had below knee amputation on September 11, 2022 at the Ochnser Northshore Hospital by ***********************************. Surgery was successful and I was approved by **************** for a prosthetic device. He recommended that go to the ************* in *******, **. to be fitted for the prosthetic device and to then receive a permanent device. At this time I am in a wheelchair. I went to the ************* with the written approval from **************** and gave it to ***** at Hanger. She has submitted all of the paperwork for approval. This was about 3-4 weeks ago. I was supposed to receive the prosthetic device today (November 8, 2022) but the appointment was cancelled by ***** as the device has not been approved by Peoples Health. My wife with my approval contacted ****** at Peoples Health and she could not find any paperwork having been submitted by Hanger. She then contacted ******************** ****** and the nurse said that all of the paperwork from the doctor's ****** has been submitted. We then contacted ***** of Hanger and she said that she would submit the paperwork again. At this time, I do not have the protheses and I cannot walk. I need the device. I am considering changing insurance companies to Humana. Please address as soon as possible.

      I tried selling insurance with *****, and lost money doing it for about 4 months.. Ever since signing on with Aflac, with such unprincipled people, I have been receiving ******** in the mail.. I have no eligibility for ******** for 29 more years, and wouldn't want useless mail till then; Please.
