Bought property in Feb 7 2025 and had been months asking for a recorded copy and submission to the courts to obtain title for property I purchased and I have yet to receive anything from civic source. Keep calling and emailing trying to see why the status of my refund for $850 still pending no answer customer service dont know all they could do is ask they account department which never get back with a answer on why its still pending are when i will be refunded Was issue a refund on January 8, 2024 today is May 9, 2025 customer service says it takes 90 days and its past that and i still have no refund and still havent been contacted by the account department are anyone about this matter. Civic source is a scam they have no problem taking the money right away but you have to go through all this to get it backBusiness Response

We processed the refund on 3/27/25 and it came back returned due to customer bank issue. We are in the process of doing the refund out of our accounts payable system that will go out this week.

I took part in an auction which ended on Wednesday, February 5, 2025. I later received the confirmation paper work on more than a month later on Monday, March 24, 2025. Since then, I've had to cut the high grass, to be a good citizen of the city, to avoid any backlash or risk illegal dumping on the property. I was originally advised by the closing department of documents from each auction being delivered to the city for processing once a month. As of today, Wednesday, April 30, 2025, the sale has not been delivered for signature and recording with the city. I've attempted multiple times to address such issue with a Ms. ****** ********. I've asked for supervisors and sent multiple emails and made multiple phone calls. No assistance, same "I'll send her an email, I'll place a note for her supervisor, I'll be sure to add your comments to the email to her." I have work to be done on the site and contractors on standby, not for long, pending simple actions to be taken on this property.Business Response

I placed a deposit to initiate a property tax sale auction on Feb 4, 2025, The auction was held on April 2, 2025. I was not the winning bidder. I received an email on April 4, 2025 stating my deposit refund is being processed. I then received another email on April 9, 2025 that my deposit refund has been initiated and will be deposited into my bank ************* is April 21, 2025 and still no refund. This company does not do a good job of explaining their policy. I called and spoke with a nice representative, but there was nothing he could do.Business Response

CivicSource emailed on Jan 10 Saying they were going to return deposit Deposit was left October October 10 Auction ended on January 5 Its now February 15 I have not heard back from them. They keep dodging my calls. They will not reply to emails and I still have not gotten back my deposit. These guys are crooks.Deposit was for $850.Business Response

**** **** placed a deposit on a property for $850.00 and never called us to report any problems. From this complaint, I had our operations team look into it and we just refunded the $850.00 back to Ajah's account, which should show up next week.

Made two deposits of $850 with CivicSource. One on 8-30-24 and 11-12-24. I didnt not win the bid and was told Ill receive my refund. Well, its been beyond the 90 day period and I still havent received my refund. I call and they continuously tell me that its pending but havent been released! I send an email and never get a response. Something is really going on within that accounting office and needs to be investigated! On 8/18/24, I submitted $850.00 to Civic Source in order to start the bidding process, on property ****** as per their website, with the understanding that if I was not the winning bidder or if the property was cancelled because of redemption by owner of the property my money $850.00 would be refunded. The auction was date was was for 11/6/2024 it was canceled 9/27/24 due to property owner redemption of property. The property was located on *********** in ***************. I have emailed and call repeatedly. A generic email response is "your refund status is still currently showing as pending. The matter has been escalated". This same email response came 10/18/24, 10/23/24. My phone calls are unanswered as well as messages (emails). Ive asked to speak to a manager and Im still waiting on that person to call.Business Response
