      I wanted to sing the praises of ****** and her team at South Coast Solar! For context, I am a first-time solar customer and would call myself highly skeptical of the real benefits vs. all the claims that are made across the industry. The reason I was in the market was to take advantage of the federal tax credit being raised to 30% (helping offset a high tax bill). It is no exaggeration to say I took 11 months and several varied quotes until I decided to pull the trigger. ****** was nothing short of professional, patient, and candid when answering all my questions. The solar panel project/installation is all very high-quality build. The team has been very responsive, and I am already seeing a drastic reduction in my electric bills (more than what was even being projected). If you are considering a solar addition, I strongly recommend working with South Coast Solar.

      I used South Coast Solar to install my complete solar and battery backup system for my home. The process of deciding on my equipment, while not fast, was very thorough. I was confident that we had looked at all aspects of the system. Once that part was done then installation was scheduled and completed just per the contract. The work itself was of very good quality. It has been installed now for about 3 months and so far has actually exceeded expectations a bit. I do recommend that anyone considering solar really does their homework so they fully understand what the benefits are and are not. If you do that and decide it is for you then I would highly recommend South Coast Solar to do your installation. Many installers in this business are not professional or altogether trustworthy. All the team members were very professional and special notice should be given to ******* and *****. ******* worked with me on the system design and ****t the installation.

      I chose South Coast Solar for two reasons. First, my sales consultant ******* thoroughly reviewed the proposal and process with me. I was curious about the technology and how it worked and she could explain everything to me in ******'s terms. She was very responsive to my emails, too. Secondly, I wanted the highest quality solar panels produced by ******** company SunPower and South Coast Solar offered them. The installation was very smooth. ***** the electrician took extra care in attaching the Tesla Powerwall to my circa *************************************************** short, of the other companies and products I looked at, South Coast Solar offered me the best sales consulant, support and products for my needs.

      South Coast Solar installed my solar panel system this winter, and so far, I've been very impressed with the company. Though there were delays from the manufacturer, the company kept me informed of changes and did a really excellent job on my installation. The roofing crew and electrical crew were polite and took the time to make sure that things were installed correctly. I'm very happy with the installation and very excited to save with my new solar panels!

      In 2015, I signed a contract with South Coast Solar to install solar panels on our house. Our contract states we have a 25 year Consumer Protection Plan with a full labor warranty. In July 2021, I noticed that my electric bill was no longer showing a solar credit. I talked with *** ******** at South Coast Solar who told me that they would have to come out to look at our system. *** finally came out in Oct. 2021 and told me that the inverter needed to be replaced but that he did not have the manpower to do so. I contacted *** many times in 2022 to schedule the repairs, but he had the same excuse: that he did not have the manpower to replace the inverter. He told me to contact Sun Power (the manufacturer of the panels), but Sun Power said very clearly that they are not responsible for repairs. So basically I have gotten the run-around. South Coast Solar refuses to honor their contract to repair my system because they don't "have the manpower." I would strongly recommend against hiring South Coast Solar because they will just take your money and ignore you when subsequent service is needed. I have basically lost 1.5 years of electric credits and have a useless solar panel system. Do not hire South Coast Solar if you value good service!

      I had my solar panels installed on Friday 10/12/22 just wanted the company to know I had 4 gentleman from South Carolina doing my install and I was very impressed with the work they performed They were professional and polite answered all of my questions They told me when they arrived that they would have everything installed by the end of the day ( they didn’t leave until 8:30) thanks South Coast solar give those guys a bonus
