Two months ago, I purchased a new 2024 Honda Ridgeline at Premier Honda in New Orleans, LA. After paying for it, two paint defects were identified; one of them at the initial inspection, which they took care at their shop; the second one during the final inspection, before driving the truck out. They committed- verbally and through a written "we owe" piece of paper to take care of that defect where I live. I took my truck at the Honda dealer in Lake Charles and they provided a repair estimate and sent it to Premier Honda. Since then, a lot of written messages between me and Premier Honda, and between the repair shop and them took place, without any progress; even though they said that had authorized the repair. The shop repair in Lake Charles requested Premier Honda to pay the bill before the repair could take place; however Premier Honda never paid it. Instead, they said they could do the repair for much less and proposed as an alternative that I brought my truck to their shop in N.O., in order for them to repair it there. I didn’t agree with this path, because based on all what had happened I didn't trust them, and the fact that they would do it cheaper suggested that they could try to ‘band aid’ the repair, instead of doing it the right way; which would make the situation worse, because the defect could become more visible.
I also contacted Honda Headquarters and placed a claim; however instead for Honda Premier to finalize this as they had committed initially, at Lake Charles, they changed their mind and said that I needed to drive my truck to New Orleans, in order for them to do their own inspection; something which they had done two months ago.
At no point of the whole frustrating process has Premier Honda been proactive to solving this issue.
This has been by far my worst purchasing experience; I fully paid for a new truck, not for a new truck with two defects, and hope that Premier Honda reconsider this and pay for the repair at Lake Charles.

We bought a 2018 Honda odyssey, they talked my wife into buying an extended warranty. left the van with them to fix. they kept it 8 days and told me they fixed the problem , they fixed nothing. I had to get a jump from them to drive it home, they said that's normal. when I had the time and brought it back, they said the warranty didn't cover the problem cause it was caused by a Honda defect. Never found any such defect with any other van. when you talk lawyer all of a sudden they want to talk about fixing it. they were very unhelpful, lie like a politician and could not care less, and that's from the office people. would not trust Premier Honda to put gas in it.

After 3 years of unemployment, I recently got a job and as my old car was on its last leg, I went in to Premier Honda to see if I might be able to qualify for financing, which I was very doubtful of. After finding a CRV there, I filled out the application but was denied as I expected. The next day they contact me and say they have another finance company who can do the deal (subprime, of course, but they don't admit that). Then after coming back in, they LIE TO MY FACE and say the financing has been approved. So, I pay a $2500 down payment and sign my trade-in to them only to find out later that the financing was never approved. So after dicking around with this for 5 weeks, I got my car back but only half of my down payment as they kept half for "rental and recovery fees."I suppose what they did was illegal but as the loss is just "small claims" level, they get it away with it. They're all liars and cheats there.

I want to preface this review with, "the SERVICE Department with **** and **** are GREAT!!" When I had issues with my BMW purchased 2 years ago, they addressed. Matter of fact **** usually bent over backwards to assist. My main issue started with an oil change that was done. Since I was offered that and oil changes for 4 years, why would I go anywhere else. Upon leaving the dealership after my first oil change, my drivetrain malfunction light went on. I turned right back around and asked about the light. Apparently something "got loose" and was tightened. The light went off and I left. Shortly after, the light came back on. After going back and forth with Honda, they finally sent me to one of their authorized repair shops, Greff Motors. They found something wasn't replaced during the oil change, causing air to get into the system, causing the light. HONDA PAID FOR THE REPAIR admitting fault. Later, I started hearing a noise and the light continued to come on intermittently. Returning to Greff Motors, they advised the trouble I was having was "due to an erroneous oil change done at the dealership." I returned to Honda, showing them the invoice that was provided. Service Manager **** and Advisor **** talked with some higher ups and advised they would be able to split the cost of a motor ($5,000, for sure cost) and they would have to get back to me with the cost of labor and gaskets. Trying to follow up, I spoke with the GM of that store, Dwayne Lewis, who said emphatically he would not work with us and we would not get any assistance with this. Now I am voluntarily surrendering my vehicle, because I cannot afford continued repairs AND to keep making car payments. Thanks alot!!
