      I didn’t have any late payments with Essential and I have paid my loan
      off because of the miss management of my loan payments by Essentiall.
      I am reporting Essential to the BBB today. I am tired of trying to make
      Essential under that you had my payment scheduled for every 30 days.
      Well, some months there are 31 days which means my loan payment
      was taken out two times in some months and not at all in other months.
      Example: Jan. had 31 days. 2 payments taken out for the months that have
      31 days. Feb. has 28 days and not payment would be taken out the months
      After the months that have 31 days.
      I have called and called and even went in to the office in Plaquemine and no
      help either way. It was almost like they were laughing at me. This is the
      second time this has happened. The first time was during the 2nd year I had
      my loan with Essential. Essential ended up reimbuseming me $ 2,000.00+
      for their mistakes. Essential was taking my loan out 2 time during the months
      that had 31 days.
      Because of your mis-handling of my loan that is why I came in an paid my loan
      off. I didn’t want my credit score to keep going down. Essential still reports Past Due payments! Still bringing my credit score down. My payments were bank drafted and there is NO WAY a payment was ever late.
      Hope people will read this and consider never doing business with Essential Credit Union.

      I have called a plethora of times today and asked everytime multiple times to speak to the branch manager or administration now because I'm not getting any help it's like this continuously! I've been a member a long time and the only helpful employee is ***** who use to be branch manager of Siegen lane then Walker. But I've left messages and to no avail I'm not being helped when a member ask for something the employee should listen to them.

      Member contacted 11/15/24 regarding complaint. She explained that she was able to speak with a Contact Center representative regarding her concerns. She purchased a money order from the post office in the amount of $22.35. The post office communicated that they received notice that she disputed the debit, and that they did not in fact receive credit for the transaction. Ms. ****** stated that they're holding her mail and she is unable to reach the Post Master or obtain assistance. Essential has provided a brief summary of her transaction history to reflect the debit was successfully received, as Ms. ****** did not want to provide her full months transaction history. The member has been assisted; no further action needed.

      Back in December I fell behind on my car payment. I paid my car payment at the exact 30 days but unfortunately the transaction didn’t post until day 31 even though I got confirmation of my payment. It was posted on my credit accounts costing me 100 points. I’m a newly single mom of 3 starting over in life. I wasn’t given a chance. They were rude to me. Wouldn’t recommend them

      All phone calls have been reviewed in connection with the activity. There was nothing noted in the communication to indicate the member’s experience was negative. No payments were received on the loan referenced from the member between November 16, 2023, and January 10, 2024, which is outside of the agreed upon terms in the retail contract.
      Essential Credit Union has determined the account is reporting correctly to all consumer reporting agencies and no deletions will be made, nor information removed under the profile.

      I have had the worst experience with this bank, specifically dealing with *** ***** the "the committee" as he stated that he is the one that make decisions. I was default on my commercial loan by 2 payments, however, after attempting to make the whole payment, I was denied. *** ***** claims they sent me a demand letter that I signed off making me responsible to pay my entire loan in full. This was bogus and untrue. I never signed anything and after attempting to explain my situation, this man told me that it didn't matter, but "they" were tired of my account being in default (only happened twice this year) and they just wanted me to pay the loan in full $115K or they will start foreclosure processing. They did not try to offer me any relief or simple allow me to pay my missed 2 payments. He told me that I have 30 days. It was like I was dismissed and discarded like trash. I would not recommend anyone to get a loan with this Bank as they are only concern about what benefits them and not concern about their customers. I been with this bank since 2014 starting with a balance of $144k. I've always paid my notes within 30 days. I admit since Covid, within the last year, I did have those 2 missed payments, however, I still made the payments.
