      Within the time frame of August 2023 and November 2023, I had a total of 8 crowns placed on my front teeth. I had two gold crowns that I did not want replaced and had them for about 8 years at the time never had any problems, no tarnishing, fading, falling out, or anything but the dentist which was “Dr. ******” told me that they needed to be removed in order to complete the crown work. After meeting with my primary dentist I learned that it probably wasn’t necessary to do so which made me feel like it was all about money. In November 2023, my two gold crowns were removed under the dentist order and replaced with what was supposed to be new ones. I asked why they were silver and not gold and they could not answer my question but offered to replace them with what I hope would’ve been a better quality gold but for an additional cost. I did not follow through with this offer because this could’ve easily been resolved by sending the crowns back and requesting a better quality instead of trying to squeeze more money out of me after I had already invested nearly $10,000 into this company. Also, I had an employee which was a receptionist to tell me that the gold crowns that I removed was fake and that theirs weren’t. This made me feel a way as a customer being that the crowns were mines for approximately 8 years and to have her insult me in that way was very unethical, unprofessional and hurtful. Nine months later not even a year has passed and now I have one of those same poor quality crowns falling out of my mouth embarrassing me. I spent almost 10 grand at this office and was never confident in those 2 crowns and they know exactly why. I would not recommend this place of business to anyone. Dr. ****** was nice but the quality of the product and service is very poor and overpriced. I am requesting a refund for the two crowns or they must be replaced with a much better quality crown that I will not have to risk being embarrassed by again.

      This is Dr. ******.

      Concerning Mrs. **** past complaint, the procedure was 100% necessary to meet her desired outcome.  This was documented, discussed, and signed off by this nice lady on several occasions.  

      One of the fees she included in the picture has nothing to do with her complaint, but was paid to the office for a different procedure AFTER the subject of this complaint was completed. 

      Because she had approved of the final look prior to completion, the dental lab may require a small fee for additional jewelry.  She was given the option on several occasions to order something new.

      She came in a few days ago, and at the time I believed her current issue to be resolved. I offered to make any additional alterations of fit or color free of charge as I discussed with her on several occasions, but She elected to return to the original look (the subject of this complaint).

      I did not see this BBB complaint until the day after she came back in.  I placed a call to her and her husband today, and have not head back yet. I do not expect a quick response, as today is the landfall day of Hurricane Francine.  She is welcome to follow back up me or with our office to clarify any confusion.
