      I purchased tickets over a week ago for my family to attend *********** comic con at the mass mutual center. Upon arrival- we had to wait over 2 hours in line during a heatwave outside (temperature at 96 degrees) with our tickets as we were told the event was at max ******** and we could not enter. Now, the event ends in 2 hours and we will have not been let in. They need to issue refunds for tickets sold for an event we were not admitted into.

      The Massachusetts Convention Center Authority (MCCA), which owns the MassMutual Center, has received your customer complaint re: July 23 Comic Con event in Springfield. We understand your complaint and do apologize for the wait customers had faced on this very hot day. The event was held in the Exhibition Hall. Due to the tremendous turnout and the temperature outside, during the event the MassMutual Center, Comic Con, and local municipalities collaborated and opened up additional locations inside the venue (such as:Meeting Rooms, Pre-Function ******************* and connecting hallways) to offer additional areas inside for an opportunity to cool down. However we recognize that these on-site changes were not able to address all customer wait times.

      There is a link at the bottom for show customer's to submit a request for a refund or credit. 

      We value your business and hope that you will return to a future event at the MMC.
