August 08, 2024, I dialed Norton to renew my anti virus package. I thought I was talking to a Norton employee and was assured that I was talking to Norton Antivirus employee and I could get a three year subscription for $269.99. Several times I asked if I was talking to A Norton employee and each time the person on the phone said yes, he was a Norton employee. When they billed my credit card, the bill was from Allroundfix.I was finally able to get through to the real ************** and was told that I had been scammed. They pointed out that ****** only sold their products one year at a time.Customer Answer

I have not heard from the business in response to my complaint.
I did carry my computer to a reliable computer company. They clean my computer.
This company said I had virus and malware on my computer. My cost for the cleaning was $150.00.
I have not seen a charge on my credit card since I refuted the original charge from the bogus company in question.
Thank you, *************************

Response from Allroundfix LLC:
Dear **********************;and the Better Business Bureau,
We appreciate the opportunity to respond to this complaint. We take pride in our transparency and commitment to providing genuine services to our customers, and we would like to offer clarification regarding this situation.
On the same day the customer contacted us, he expressed interest in purchasing Norton Security, for which Allroundfix LLC is an authorized reseller. We provided the licensed security software and performed the installation on the customers computer. At the time, the customer confirmed their satisfaction with both the software and the services rendered.
The customer was fully aware that he was dealing with Allroundfix LLC throughout the entire process:
He made the payment through our official website.
He received a payment receipt from our company, clearly indicating our business name.
He signed a payment authorization form, which also bore our company name. We have records of this signed document.
Additionally, we have a call recording in which we clearly stated our company name and explained the details of the purchase.
Despite receiving the licensed Norton Security and our services without any issues, the customer later disputed the entire amount of $269.99, resulting in a full refund. This is a case of what is known as "friendly fraud," where the customer received the product and service but reclaimed their money without notifying us or expressing dissatisfaction.
The customer has not contacted us since the service was provided, and it is disheartening to see that he is now filing a complaint. As a business, we value honesty and fairness, and we also expect our customers to act in good faith.
We stand by the legitimacy of our services and the transparency of the transaction. We are open to further communication to resolve this issue in a fair manner, but we respectfully disagree with the false accusations being made.
Thank you for considering our response, and we remain committed to upholding the highest standards of service.Sincerely,
Customer Support Team.

Businesses and Customers should be civil, courteous and polite in their responses to complaints. It is important to remain professional and productive when participating in the BBB complaint process.
FAQI stand by my original complaint. I notice over 15 complaints on the BBB page stating the same thing I stated earlier. I carried my computer to a reliable, local, company and had my computer cleaned. They told me that they found several viruses and malware on my computer and made the correct repairs. This cost me and additional $150.00. ************ duped me. I did refute the charge and I assume Allroundfix can't charge me again. If this is the case, I'm happy to get this behind me with no additional charges.

This company told me I had Norton protection included in the purchase price of $299.99. I have not had Norton protection until today, June 4, 2024. I purchased their service on April 11, 2022. They should refund a portion of my money due to telling me I had Norton protection when I DID NOT UNTIL TODAY, JUNE 4, 2024. Since they did not provide what they promised I believe they owe me a refund for the months I was not covered by ******. They have REFUSED to give me any of my money back for the service I was told I had and DID NOT HAVE FOR WELL OVER A YEAR.Thank you!Customer Answer

I had questions regarding the McAfee support on my computer, and googled their customer service number. I was taken to a page presenting itself as McAfee customer support, but it was not. It took me some time to realize this, as a technician (who apparently worked for JustAnswer.LLC) took remote control of my screen, made technical changes, advised me of services I did not need, and then transitioned me to an abusive manager who told me I had already received services and needed to to pay for comprehensive tech support for either $399.99 for 3 years to $499.99 for five years. No documentation was provided enumerating the type of support I was to receive, or how to receive it. I have no idea of the relationship between JustAnswer LLC and Allaroundfix. After a protracted argument with the Allaroundfix manager, I felt I had no choice but to authorize the $399.99 transaction. Afterwards, I immediately looked up this company and saw many others filing complaints about Allaroundfix masquerading as McAfee customer support, which is fraudulent and deceptive. They send me an invoice, then sent me the email (attached below), somehow having the email sent from MY email account TO my email account, asserting that I authorized the transaction. I immediately responded that the email was NOT from me and was fraudulent. I believe it is strong evidence that Allaroundfix is trying to cover their tracks by creating phony evidence that customers are willingly procuring their "services" (which I still don't know what they are!). I filed an initial complaint on this site. I called my bank and put a freeze on the pending transaction to Allaroundfix. I Allaroundfix wants their money, they need to provide me in writing an enumeration of the services they provide, and how to procure those services. I also expect an apology for their deceptive and abusive business practices.Business Response

I searched for McAfee customer service in ****** and I found a number that I thought was McAfee. Instead I was connected to All Round Fix, LLC. The representative acted like he was a third party of McAfee customer service to fix my virus and renewal subscription. They immediately had me to log them into my computer to act like they were going to fix it and began to tell me to purchase a 3 or 5 year subscription when I already purchased a McAfee renewal. They told me that they will issue the McAfee refund and I needed to purchase a plan to help with identity fraud. I was sold and ended up giving them my credit card to fix my issue and thats when I realized they had me to agree to the purchase and I saw All Round Fix and not McAfee. Charging me $139 when I had already paid $89 for McAfee. I was given my credit card to someone who I didnt know and who had access to my computer. I was terrified! Thats when I looked up reviews for the company and realized others were scammed as well. I immediately called my bank to notify them of fraud and stop all charges. They had access to my computer and said it will take 1 hour to fix it and wanted to hangs up once they received my credit card info. Then I noticed they reached out to ****** pretending to be me on my computer to issue a refund. When the McAfee rep asked for my last 4 digits of my credit card, the scammer kept asking other questions. He eventually disconnected the chat pretending to be me. They are scammers. Dont fall for it!Business Response

At Allroundfix LLC we believe in transparency in business and give high regard to Customer Satisfaction. Here few important point we should notice in initial complaint customer was saying we have never given her service or norton security software, now she is saying she was not aware that we are giving her norton and how come we are misrepresenting us if she is already aware that we are Allroundfix LLC and we are the reseller of security softwares and also paid on our printed invoice and she has also done authorised signature documents. Later she came to us and asked for refund and we have also refunded $200 as goodwill gesture still she has made the complaint with wrong intention of her for taking complete money back, she has also mentioned there is no such norton product which comes for 3 years for that we request every one please refer to the norton website and can check there are products which comes for 3 and 5 years too and we also have the license key record which we have redeemed on her account and name. The technician went ahead and fixed the issue and also installed the security software. Later when our customer service team contacted her for feedback, she confirmed that her issue has been resolved and security is working fine, after few days of taking services and our licensed software she showed her intention for full refund and as a customer centric company we have also raised the partial refund of $200 on her request which she agreed to settled it. Still she has raised the false complaint to better business bureau. A consumer should be more prudent when dealing with a company that is as customer-friendly and consumer-centric as we are. You had an issue and we resolved. We believe he would be satisfied with our service and if not, we appreciate if the customer contacts us to resolve the issue. If customer is still not happy with the services, we do refund policy in place. We would appreciate if customer contact us and discuss the matter to close this matter.Customer Answer

10-5-23, I contacted ****** and somehow was transferred to Allroundfix. I paid them $599.99 for 5 years of continous service on my laptop. The week of 10-22-23 I was in northern ********* and lost WIFI. I only had airplane mode and bluetooth available on my laptop. When back in town I took my laptop to my local vendor. They worked on it , got WIFI availablity back but could not get online. Then they kept working on it and once Allroundfix was removed my laptop works. I feel they did something to make it not work and either the same day or the next day I received an email to contact them for maintenance. I was only to contact them every 3 months...makes you wonder why they contacted me about maint... maybe they knew the issue.Business Response

Dear Customer The email you have received that's our generic email for monthly computer check-up and that is not just sent you it was sent to all the customers, Also when we have fixed your computer internet was working well properly and later after delivering the computer we got disconnected after that how we can change anything? we have worked with you given you security licences and you are successfully using it.
It is your just assumption and basis of just assumption you can not accuse any company. Also we have just installed calling card which is only used to connect your computer when you want to connect with us that can be only initiated from your end.
we are one of reputed organization working in favour of customer from last many years, and again we always welcome you in-case you have any issue call our customer support number and we will always help you and if required can also send ************** to your home as well.
we also dont understand if you had a issue instead of calling us why you have visited local store? end of the day every one wants the business they would say something wrong then only you will pay them and that was exact case.
