1 star only because 0 is not an option!!Ive been using the same debit card issued to a 501(c)(3) charity for years! I used it last week to try to send tuition funds to ***** and was blocked because I cannot use a commercial card. I tried explaining to a couple of geniuses on chatline I have never used any other card but I would have been more successful pushing a tank up a hill. Sendwave *****. **************** is non-existent. Chat line ***** - 80 minute wait! Phone line ***** - 60 minute wait!Use at your peril!Sendwave

**************** is unreliable. I sent $1000 since 1 week, until now still shows processing but the amount already deducted in my account. Application dont even have a Cancel transaction ********* took me 1 1/2 hour waiting before an agent attended me in the chat but they are useless. I was just told that they will review the transaction. Their contact number is is always busy. It my first time to use sendwave as recommended by a friend but I was disappointed that my money was gone and I dont even know if my bank can still take it back by dispute.Sendwave

I have sent money through Sendwave many times without any problem. However I sent 4 transactions on 12/15, 12/16, 12/17, and 12/18 that showed on the app that the funds were delivered. However my receipient informed me there was no money received when they went to collect the funds from the bank. I have contacted @ Sendwave now several times and they keep taking me in circles. Sometimes they ask me to send bank statement from the receipient bank and I have now done so countless times. All of them showing no money was received. They gave me a statement they claimed was from their local partner in ***** with tracking numbers to take to the receipient bank as proof money was sent. The *************** stated that the transactions were cancelled and reversals initiated and @sendwave received the money. The reversals statement were very clear that Sendwave is withholding my funds illegally all this time. I have sent them bank statement after bank statement and still wont remit the money or refund back to my account. They always feign ignorance or hide under our team is still investigating . This company doesnt seem to have a policy of resolving customers complaints, they have zero values, and no integrity. Its high time the authorities act on this company doesnt seem.Sendwave

I attempted to open an account and send money. Initially I called and was on hold for 58 minutes and then told everything looked good and they would activate. Weeks later and still Joy activated I contacted them. They said because they said some information on my account didnt meet their approval. But they couldnt tell me what for security reasons. So basically they took all of my personal information and then said it didnt meet their approval but they couldnt tell me why or what part of their policy it didnt meet. I was then told they would close my account. I was in the process of taking screen shots of our chat and they deleted it. DEFINATELY a scam and is theft.Sendwave

This fraud company has refused to delete my account since April 2024 & this is now November!!!. I have contacted them severally to delete my ************** have blatantly refused to. This violates consumer privacy data protection laws! In what world is a consumer not allowed to delete their own account that they created???? ******! DO NOT SIGN UP FOR THIS FR4UDU7ENT PLATFORM!!! I have used Sendwave a few times over the past couple of years. Typically, no issues so far. This past weekend I sent some money to a relative. 3 days later they have not received it. The mobile app has a status of processing. My recipient's platform is working fine. Since 8hr up till now 3 days after my transaction I have been trying to get a hold of support. The chat support points the finger at my bank saying they have an outage. I've done dozens of transactions with my bank over the past 3 days there is no outage with their services. The chat support also puts you in queue and says you have a 15 to 50 min wait time. At the end of that 30 min the app automatically ends your chat session and tells you to begin again (I have 20 times - need a medal for patience). I have called the support number - the wait there is up to 50 min and they your call is automatically dropped (this has happened to me 3 times consistently). There is no other way of contacting the company. They have not issued a public statement regarding and outage on their end which is irresponsible. I thought this business was good but I think not any more there are half dozen platforms out there doing offering the same service so there is nothing outstanding about what they do. The key differentiator would be customer service - and ********************** falls flat on their faces when it comes to that. Now I have to see if I will get my money back. I'll probably seek a refund by filing a complaint through my bank's fraud department. Don't use this service. Find another World Remit, ****** etc. sometimes the extra fees are worth the service you get and avoiding the risk of your money being sucked into a black hole. Thank goodness I was not sending money for a medical or other emergency which is the case usually.Sendwave

Do not use Sendwave On sept 27th I made a transaction of $176 that were cancelled by Sendwave . Since I did not get my refund. They do not have support for customer service. They do not answer calls, they dont reply to email I called more than 5 times waited on hold for 50 minutess every time I continuously received the message: Your wait time is less than 5 minutes. However, I was never connected to a representative.Sendwave

This letter is in response to the complaint filed on September 16, 2024, with the Better Business Bureau by consumer ***************************. On August 30, 2024, the consumer initiated a transaction of $210.00 (********** NGN) sent to Promise Eze. Although the transaction status indicates that it was delivered, the recipient has not received the funds. In light of the consumer's claim, we have requested a reversal from our local partner, following the established procedures for cases where funds have not been received by the intended recipient.
We are working diligently to investigate this issue, in collaboration with our local partner in *******. We are conducting a thorough investigation to identify the root cause of the issue and ensure that it does not occur again in the future. I used sendwave for many years. I switched to ******* send as their rates were better and they offered excellent service. The moment sendwave changed logos it went downhill. I sent money yesterday for my sister to have surgery and t h e transaction is still processing. I told them to refund the money. They are telling me there is a technical problem and there is an issue coming from the local partner. I asked who the local partner is and they won't provide any names. I'm not playing with them! They better refund the $500 sent!! How can an app scam its own customers? Before when your money was in processing mode it would be refunded automatically after a few hours. WHAT THE **** IS GOING ON WITH SENDWAVE? DON'T PLAY WITH OUR HARD EARNED MONEY!!! LOOKS LIKE I'LL BE FILING A LAWSUIT.Sendwave
