    This is the worst ************* to use for funds transfer abroad. I sent money thru Sendwave abroad and later on called to cancel since the recipient could not clear it within five business days. I was told by their rep that a reversal will be issued & my account will be credited within 3 to 5 business days. Then once credited, the transaction would disappear on my bank statement. Fast forward two weeks still no refund and keeps getting the same talking point of they issued a reversal. I finally called my bank and they credited my account, now Sendwave is sending emails stated that my bank issued a chargeback on a different transaction I made three days prior to the disputed transaction.I do not owed SENDWAVE a dime, my bank only credited funds that debit/hold on my account. We're so sorry to hear that you did not receive the excellent service you deserve and we are here to make it right for you We'd like to give you a bit of an explanation on how to see the funds in your account.When you made the transaction with Sendwave, the amount you wanted to send was put on an authorized hold with your bank, but no funds were debited from your account. When your transaction was canceled, the hold was released for these funds to become available again in your account. It is important to note that the reversal cannot be seen on your bank statement, but it can be seen by looking at your available balance, which should reflect an increase for the amount in question.Normally, you should see the authorization disappear within several business days, but in some cases, this may take longer. The timing of the authorization release is completely dependent on your bank's processing time for our debit card processor. You can also contact your bank and speak with a bank manager who has access to the *************** portal and they can confirm the funds were never completely withdrawn.In the meantime, our Support Team will send you a separate email about the status of your Sendwave account.If there's any supporting document your bank needs from us in order to release the funds to you please email ********************************* and we'll be happy to assist you with it.We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience.Please let us know if you have any further queries that we can assist you with, we're happy to help!Thank you for your patience, and for choosing Sendwave.

    This is the worst app to use to transfer money abroad; We use sendwave to transfer money internationally yesterday .Our savings account got deducted 918usd and the money was not received by the receiver on the other end.We have been calling them since yesterday cause it was not delivered even after 24 hours(as they promise).We are advise to wait again for another 24 hours because they said that is how long before they can escalate the cancellation that we requested and refund.I think sendwave is a scam.Dont ever use it.

    I have been using sendwave for the past 6 months to send money to *************** to bank accounts as well as their mobile payment system (GCash). I have to say sendwave has not once given me any issues whatsoever and it is one of the fastest payment systems I have tried (xoom, paypal, xe, remitly, worldremit) and has one of the most competitive rates. I'm surprised to see *************************************************************** fraud that happened outside of Sendwave's control and could happen with any company. Sendwave works perfectly as it was intended for. Thank you also for amazing customer support both text and over the phone (which I have used twice for questions I had).

    To be perfectly clear, I have never used Sendwave. Until this evening I'd never heard of it. I got an alert from my bank that a withdrawal of $650 was deducted for a purchase that I didn't authorize. It appears my bank is on it and reversed the charge. Though, I need to know how an app that I've never heard of accessed my account. I'll be in touch with my bank tomorrow to gain some clarification.
