Yesterday venmo initially sent an email warning me of "suspicious activity" on. my account. Was my iphone in my possession? Yes. Did I loan out my phone? No. Blah, blah, blah. They tried pass the **** and tell me it was something on my end - and to change all of my passwords on social media and banks, etc. Doing research on ****** and ****** reviews and on BBB reviews looks like its a TAX RELATED issue with downloading a form on pdffiller and the two entities are partnered in scamming a $96 fee. Please cancel whatever is you have to cancel you DO NOT HAVE MY CONSENT OR AUTHORIZATION. Bunch of wankers and scammers!!!!!! You have to be so vigilant: report them!!!!!AirSlate, Inc

**** hi and apologies for any confusion incurred!
The current status of your subscription (it was on the site **********, just in case, since you seem not to recall the experience with us) is as follows: the subscription itself is canceled, the refund transaction is pending on the bank side.
We apologize this is taking longer than expected, however, since this decision is totally up to the bank, there is very little (nothing, actually) we can do to speed this on the bank's side.
Our Support will follow-up with you on this today. And just in case, please keep in mind that if your bank (or payment processor) decides in this dispute against the refund, you can always contact us directly with the email and we will arrange that differently, no problem at all.

Just in case (even though the account has already been canceled, just for your records and information), please note that your account with us was registered under a different email (the one without a dot in it).

Worst experience ever. Charged me $1.50 twice for no reason, then I couldnt even get into my account. Ihad to contact customer service, twice, and both times they gave me a support ticket, only to have both tickets canceled without help. Did the chat, they told me my account was canceled. A week later I checked and did th chat, and he also told me my account was canceled. 3 weeks later they charged me $96, had to go back on chat, since still couldnt get into my account, and now they are saying it will be at least a week before they refund. would even give this company 1 star if I could leave 0 I would. ***** hi! And many thanks for getting back to this, actually. This case is indeed a bit confusing and requires additional clarification.
On our end, we see two tickets with Support filed and three instances of communication with our Support.
The first round of communication was on April, 10th. You've asked about the $1.50 charge. The agent explained that these are not two charges, actually. The first transaction was verification (test transaction which checks the validity of credit card details provided upon account registration). The second transaction was actually the return of those $1.50. In simple terms, this was a test transaction for $1,50 (it's actually automatic and is not even issued by us),R returned instantly back to you.
The second round of communication is dated April, 12th. You've provided your email, we could not find you in our system. Then you've replied that this case has already been resolved, so the ticket was closed. On that day, we did not actually find your account just yet and assumed there was some sort of miscommunication.
The third (and last ) round of communication was on April, 30. The same day you've submitted this review. In the course of this communication round, we have found out together that your account was registered under the misspelled email (yaho, not yahoo). This is the reason why we could not find you earlier. On that day though, our agent located your subscription, canceled it and refunded the full amount.
And yes, the refund might take up to five business days, depending on a bank and its location. But since it's May 6th already, maybe you already see it? Would really appreciate the confirmation. Thank you in advance.

******** hi! Many thanks for reaching out, however, these are two different account on our end, actually, and two different cases.
For the email you've indicated here along with your review, we had an account back in December 2024, and it has been long canceled, no recent charges.
For the Venmo name mentioned here we had an account under the email which starts as ***********. The owner of this account contacted us directly via chat on April 29th. The subscription was then canceled and a refund was issued.
Since both accounts are now canceled and there are no pending refunds, we would really appreciate if you could confirm this to BBB and possibly remove this review as well.

I signed up for a free trial, and cancelled immediately after using it because I only needed the service once. I received an email stating that it was successfully cancelled. There was still a charge of $1.25 on my card. Then they tried to make another charge on my card a few days later. I have a block on my card for online purchases if Im not actively trying to use it. The second charge did not go through. Wondering why I was charged anything if it was a free trial.AirSlate, Inc

A transaction between one and two dollars on a first day after subscribing is not really a charge, strictly speaking. This is called "verification amount", and it is used by banks and payment systems to check the validity of the registration details.
This amount is normally back on the account within first 24h, often quicker. Since this review was written last month, we are sure you've already got it back, right?

I saw a charge to my Venmo for $96, 2/15/25 and I immediately called Venmo to dispute, I have never authorized airslate for any type of "business" or app charges to my account, ***** *** asked if I authorized a service or if I had a business, I said no and had to change all of my passwords because it appeared someone had hacked into my account and charged for this amount for airslate.AirSlate, Inc

This company fraudulently charged my credit card $96. I have never done business with this company nor have I ever heard of the company. Its a complete scam. I contacted them attempting to get the issue resolved and they stated they cannot find the charge using the last four digits of my card. They are requesting me to send them the first six digits of my card, which I find bizarre when you all charged my card in the first place. NOW, they refuse to cancel the charge until I give them MORE INFORMATION on MY CARD. If anyone else has this issue, its about time we all lawyer up and start a lawsuit against AirSlate/pdfFiller because this is ridiculous. I thought I was the first one with this issue until I came to the BBB website. There is no way all of us should be having the same fraudulent issue with no resolution. Something fraudulent is going on with this company and LAWYERS NEED TO GET INVOLVED IN A LAWSUIT IMMEDIATELY.AirSlate, Inc

Chanel hi! I've just double-checked with our Billing Support regarding the details you've provided along with this review and, unfortunately, can only confirm that we indeed have nothing recorded for your email, so sorry.
Therefore, we would need either an alternative email (the one linked to your mobile, or university email, or work one?) and those digits on the card.
Please note that last six digits could ONLY be used for verification purposes, nothing else. You can actually double-check this with your bank or any accountant, we are confident they will confirm.
We are hoping to get more information from you very soon and settle this case!

For the email linked to this review/complaint we can only track account registration, and it was back in 2018 -- no paid plan, no charges.
Most probably, your more recent account has been linked to another email then.
Please email us ************************************ the following information:
your other emails (from work or university, for example)
your Venmo user name
the exact date of this transaction.

Please email us ************************************ and let us know your other emails as well as your Venmo user name. Then we will close your account. And if Venmo decides not to reverse the charge, we can also arrange for a refund.
Please note that you need to contact us directly in any case, even if Venmo decides in your favor, because our system will still see your account is open/active and will continue to attempt to charge you.
