Its unbelievable that this company is used by so many people. Their service is terrible - absolutely terrible. This is a perfect example and typical of my efforts to utilize them to spend my own money. I desperately need supplies and cannot afford for them to take weeks to reimburse me as their reviews and reputation suggests is often the case. So I have been trying to call them to order the supplies. It is now 11:22 a.m. June 20. Every single time I call, I get a message saying they are closed June 19th but will be open regular business hours June 20. Umm, guys, it is June 20, regular business hours, and youre not open. At least take down the message saying you will be open!!!Ametros

It is EXHAUSTING dealing with Careguard here in AZ. Almost impossible to find or convince medical providers to take Careguard. Have money in my set aside that I can't use because no provider will use them. My health continues to decline. I am constantly in contact with them self advocating for care., and though they are working on it, I have no care. For six months I've had to go with medication because they can't find a provider. I can't afford to pay out of pocket & get reimbursed. What's the point of a set aside that you can't use? Seems the client should have other resources available to use their money for the injuries covered. But there's none. Beyond frustrated with ******************************* Careguard. Feels like the injured worker doesn't really matter. Sadly, this current situation isn't even the worst experience with Careguard. Like I said, I believe they are working on it, but six months without *********** is unacceptable and the Company not offering no other choices for their clients to get care seems like it should not be legal. The entire Workmans Comp system needs restructured to care for the injured worker. Stressed out!!Ametros

1 starNo medical establishment has ever heard of Ametros/********* since they are not an insurance company, so I need to pay for my much needed medical services out of pocket. Ive submitted reimbursement claims to these unknowns for services obtained 6 months ago and the claims are still pending! Im the one that needs to call to **** someone down with the company for information on my claims because they dont ever bother to reach out to me. Someone there finally grabbed a clue to start working AFTER I followed up. They got back to me a day or two later claiming that some services I had submitted reimbursement requests for were not eligible for reimbursement. Had they bothered to reach out to my doctors, they wouldve tied my medical services to my injury, but they didnt. They also didnt contact me either because they hadnt worked on it until I followed up with them, otherwise they wouldve been able to address this nonsense the first time I called them to follow up. Or, most appropriately, they wouldve contacted me, in a timely manner months ago, to let me know. I would have directed them to the doctor to contact to verify that the medical issue was directly tied to my injury. Im basically doing the work that they should be doing, while they sit on my *** funds.Review fromBernice C

1 starI have an account with ******************** Care Guard, I have not used it because no one will accept their card, no one has heard of them, my medical bills are stacking up and my co-pays are paid out of pocket. I have repeatedly contacted Care Guard and they are clueless with the information that is shared with me, one representative said just pay out of pocket and we will reimburse you. I have my receipts for all co-pays, and their online system will not accept them. At times they do not call me back. I think this company is non-functioning when it comes to managing claims, MSA funds, and need to be investigated for the way they handle the medical claims. I've had a account with ********************** since my injury maybe two years ago and haven't used it one time and when I did people had never heard of them and they wanted me to pay out of pocket which I'm not because I don't have the money to do that since I've lost my job. I'm already limited by my work restrictions so no job will hire me with those restrictions so the fact that I had to have this in my settlement has been not beneficial because I could've used this money to have actual paid benefits that I know doctors offices would take. I have about 40k in a account that I would've been better off handling myself rather than leave it to this company that no one recognizes.Ametros

Have been completely satisfied with the service provided.careguard has easy access by phone or portal on line.a monthly itemized statement is sent cobering expenses occurred and payments made for services rendered bu provider. Office visists to provider are covered in full.their is o copayment or bil from provider.it pays claims in partnership with with PPO network.any questions or concerns regarding claims or billing from providers are answered and addressed and resolved.advocates are friendly and professional. From past experience I have needed medical durable equipment which is covered along with certain prescription medication.i was given lowest price for supplies requested. I was given s choice in selecting medical equipment to my particular specifications..they offered help selecting items best suited for my need. Advocate was patient and knowledgeable. The item or items selected were automatically shipped directly to my home address within a timely matter..I very pleased with the service extended to me Excellent customer services rendered .Review fromJim I

I find their service positive and professional. When support is needed, it is received promptly. In short, Ametros is responsive! 5 starsI work with disabled claimants who settle their cases and elect to have their ******** Set Aside, MSA), future medical allocation, professionally administered. Sometimes by Ametros/CareGuard, sometimes by other professional administrators. I've found the key to success is for these people is to fully understand why the account was set up, (to address ******** type-covered medical care related to their injury). Ametros is a reputable, professional company who will assist their clients access the funds in their account to secure the medical care they require at the appropriate cost, and importantly, provide a yearly accounting to CMS, (Centers for ******** and ******** Services), to protect the beneficiary's ******** entitlement. That is a huge task taken off the back of the injured client.Be a self advocate, but understand the why, how to use and take advantage of the resources each professional administrator offers.
