I'm searching for employment at the moment, received an email from this company and clicked on their link. Once I entered my information and gave them my resume, I started receiving text messages and emails that appeared to be really scammy. It alerted me so I came onto this site (Better Business Bureau) and read a bunch of complaints from other people to find out that this site is a scam and that they sell your information to third parties. I would just like for them to stop contacting me and delete my information.Business Response

This company is very sketchy. Out of nowhere I started to receive multiple spam emails from them a day and when I investigated I realized that someone had taken my information from linkend in and made an account. There is not way to delete said account and I have attempted to unsubscribe from emails but they just keep coming. This job is obviously a bait and switch ploy at stealing your private information as all of the jobs they list are either too good to be true or just plain fake. In the supporting documentation I have attached screenshots where you can see this account was created 7 days ago. I did not make this account nor did I register on any other partner sites as the company has attempted to claim in previous replies to other people facing the same issues that I am. What this company is doing is scamming and if this issue is not resolved promptly I will be forced to take legal action.Business Response

They are a job search site, but after setting up an account I found out they are a site just trying to get your information to sell. I have been trying to request to deactivate my account, but there is no way to do so. Isnt something like that illegal? I no longer want them to have my email in their system. Can you help me force them to delete my email from their system? I just want my account deactivated and the most they allow is to turn off emails sent to you. They have no help chat or phone number, and the email forces you to go through a system which offers me no option to respond to deactivate.Business Response

I am receiving nonstop harassment, emails, and calls from this site. I seem to have a "profile" created that I never made. They somehow got access to my phone number and email, yet I never gave them this information. There is nowhere I can go to delete my profile, and all I am getting is dead ends. I have blocked every call and email they have sent, but they just change the number by a digit or two or change the email address and contact me again. I have clicked unsubscribe multiple times and I am still getting emails. They are contacting me at a rate of once an hour, every day, and I am fed up. I want my personal information deleted from their database, and for them to quit contacting me.Business Response

I am not interested in the business's response that claims they take people's privacy seriously. My personal information, phone number, and email, have been given out by this business to spammers and I am receiving calls every hour. When I block the number they call back with a different phone number. I have also tried to block and unsubscribe from Jobcase and all other spam emails and yet they are still coming in, just from different people. It appears there is no way to unsubscribe. I have already filed a request days ago for my information to be deleted and yet I am still receiving countless spam emails and calls. To emphasize, I am getting calls every hour on my personal phone number. As I said already, I have asked this business to delete the profile (which I never created) when I filled out the requested form days ago. I will not be satisfied until the spam emails stop coming in (which include fake job postings with unclickable links and false advertisements), my entire profile and information is deleted from their database, and I stop getting my personal phone number blown up every hour.

Jobcase is a bait and switch scam. If you are looking for a job, they email the job. But, when you open the job offer, the job doesnt show up. Every other, job, does. Jobs that Im not looking for, ie (CDL truck driver, delivery driver, anything that I am not looking for).Business Response

I applied for a position using Resume-Archive (which may or may not be in partnership with Jobcase, it makes no difference to me). Through this interaction, Jobcase obtained my email and used the location of my computer to subscribe me to a seemingly endless list of job boards, such that I am inundated by emails from third parties at an obscene level. Further, from Jobcase's own emails, there is no way to unsubscribe without sign on (notably, by connecting to one of the user's social accounts). ********************** has provided my personal email to a large number of outlets without my permission and provides no recourse for ceasing contact with these businesses (which seem to lack legitimacy). I believe it is a violation of law to disclose a person's email to a third party. If these parties are indeed in partnership with Jobcase, then I believe it is a requirement to provide an acceptable way to unsubscribe. In all cases, I feel laws have been broken, and this company is blatantly violating privacy, and plainly disrespecting inadvertent users.Business Response

Hi *****,
We would like to assure that Resume-Archive is not in partnership with Jobcase. We are two separate entities, and any interaction or email subscription you've encountered is unrelated to Jobcase.
Regarding your concerns about the disclosure of your email address to third parties, we want to assure you that at Jobcase, we prioritize user privacy and data protection. We do not share personal email addresses with third parties without explicit user consent. However, if you have received emails from other sources, it may be related to your interactions with Resume-Archive or other platforms not affiliated with Jobcase.
Also, we'd be happy to help you update your email notifications if you think you're receiving too many emails from us. You'll find an unsubscribe link in every email or you can email ********************************** and we can update those settings for you.Regards,
The Jobcase Team

I will be satisfied when my personal information is removed from all Jobcase databases. I will not reach out to the company at the email address provided, because the company has demonstrated heavy use of dark UI/UX patterns to obtain my email address to begin with.

Jobcase is generating emails to random email addresses as bait. They claim you made an account and send you a link to "confirm email" when in reality, the account doesn't exist until you "log in" through the password reset. This is a scam. The jobs sent to me were for *** and ************** which has Nothing to do with my career. Once you click on the job listing, it doesn't exist. Beware of them collecting your resume with your info.Business Response

I am not satisfied. They provided an explanation for services they offer to actual people who signed up. I never signed up for that service and the second service they sent either. I am still being spammed and I know they bait people into signing up this way. They specifically said they do not bait but without having clicked the confirmation link on the email I should have not started to receive emails every day from them. Not only that, but they were sending me irrelevant Secret Agent and *** job postings. I highly doubt those jobs post as opposed to sourcing from within.
