I went through what was disguised as a quote calculator in a Forbes article. I wanted to do some research online to see how my auto insurance compares. Did I get online estimate? No! what I did get was 10+ phone calls, 2 texts, and voice mail in less then 2 hours. Don't make my mistake, do not let this business anywhere near your phone number or you will be spammed. Who knows who else they will sell my information too and how many other numbers I will need block. If I could negative stars I would.Everquote, Inc.

Absolutely a spam phone call generator. I inquired about rates and chose the "no phone call" option which should have defaulted to email only, but within seconds, I was spammed multiple times on the phone 24 times in a 5 hour period today. I keep blocking them but I believe they use different spoofed phone numbers each time to get around blocks.Everquote, Inc.

Zero stars if possible I looked for insurance quotes and it only made me go to numerous sites with my information and my phone is blowing up with calls and whenever I block em another number from everquote pops up like this is not how you do business remove my information immediatelyEverquote, Inc.

ZERO STARS!!!! Somehow this company received my contact information while seeking Home insurance quotes. I've blocked over 12 numbers in the last 24 hours and it doesn't stop there they continue to call off different numbers!!! It's harassment, and I would NEVER consider doing business with a company who thinks this is appropriate business behavior. It is harassment and stalking. It needs to stop immediately!!! 1 starI went to the everquote.com website to get a quote on a home owners insurance policy. I filled out a few pages worth of information. The site said it would provide me a quote from their partnered insurance carriers. Instead I received links to the providers with no quote information. A few moments later I received a call from a local number claiming that it was going to provide me a quote. Since I was looking for insurance in another state, I was transferred to an "agent" in that state.I complained that the everquote.com website advertised that it would provide a quote online. The "agent" said they had nothing to do with the website. The "agent" proceeded with getting information from me to provide a quote. Again, why did I have to do this on the website in the first place. The "agent" then asked me if I had any quotes from other insurance companies. I said that I wasn't going to provide that information. He said he could not proceed with me and claimed that I was devious. Ok, it looks like you don't want my business.I was not provided with the insurance company when the "agent" called me. The "agent" did not identify himself. The "agent" was rude and very unprofessional. I called back the number that originally called me after I visited the everquote.com website. A recording stated that incoming calls would not be answered outside business hours. There was no opportunity to leave a message.I find this tactic to be misleading. I didn't ask for anyone to contact me and I was informed that a quote was to be provided online or through email.I am asking that all my personal information is purged and not released to a third-party.
