  I had the misfortune of dealing with Computershare, and I have to say it was one of the worst customer experiences I've had. Their administrative processes are outdated and inefficient, causing unnecessary delays and frustration.Every time I had to contact their customer service, I was met with unhelpful and unprofessional representatives who seemed more interested in deflecting blame than solving my problems. Their communication was unclear and often contradictory, leaving me more confused than when I started.To make matters worse, Computershare's fees are exorbitant compared to other companies in the industry, and their platform is clunky and unintuitive. I can't understand how they are still in business when there are much better alternatives out there.Save yourself the headache and avoid Computershare at all costs. Your time and money are better spent elsewhere.

  its taken me 11 months to sell 15 stocks. months to receive paperwork just to be told they need different paperwork. filled out the paperwork on the phone with them to make sure i did it correctly, turns out they were done wrong. Mailed them the corrected paperwork, after a month a called them and they said they never received it. called back a week later and they found it. told me I needed to fill out more paperwork then never sent it. I still have not been able to sell the stocks. avoid working with these people at all costs

  I sent them an enrollment form and initial investment of several thousand dollars for a certain stock. I wrote the stock symbol and the words initial investment on the check. They send me a letter 3 weeks later that enrolled me in a completely different stock. At the bottom of the letter they say that if I did not want to enroll in this stock that I should call them. They cashed my check for thousands of dollars. Don't send them money. You may regret it.

  Horrible company. Nearly impossible to get anyone on phone, which is necessary because the website login is always in fail mode. Then they just lie to you. Asked 3 times for a ****-B for sale of stock. Email link sent didn't work (multiple tries). Postal mail attempts never arrived. Repeated attempts met with, "that was mailed out yesterday." Total BS company. I will never do any kind of business with them again. Avoid at all costs. I'd give them ZERO stars if I could.

  This company is the WORST company to try and do business with. I needed to transfer custody of my stocks and they would not allow me to, I requested paperwork MULTIPLE times. But they do allow you to sell shares without them being in proper custody. And then when you bring this to their attention they lock you out of your account so that you cant even try to fix anything online yourself. Horrible customer service. I may never see the money I am due because of their disfunction as a company. F Rating in my book.

  This company is one of the worst I have ever had to deal worth. Slow response, complicated paperwork, incompetent and inconsistent help, poor phone connections and high fees to transfer and sell stock. I have been trying to sell accounts that my deceased father had. After 6 weeks I finally got checks for 5 out of 6. I called about the last one and they said it was an international company and they would send me more forms. A week and a half no forms yet. The last time I called they said another medallion stamp is not need but this time its is. The BBB rating should be F-.

  My personal takeaway from dealing with thislarge corporation is that it is mechanistic and rather uncooperative. Most recent example: after my wife died, Computershare insisted that I provide a Guardian Signature Guarantee plus a complicated set of forms. After much effort I provided both. But some of my stocks are held by another company, Equity. That company only required a simple form plus a copy of my wife's official death certificate. No signature guarantee was required. Many millions of individuals lose their spouse to death each year. This level of corporate rigidity and proof seeking is indecent.

  As the Executer of a friends estate, I found this company to be scoundrels. They delay response, overload you with paperwork, and then when time runs out, they demand new updated letters of Authority from the court. I guess their policy is to deny until a person gives up or is forced to give up. Buyer beware!

  I think they obfuscate, delay, and "accidentally" lose connection on purpose. I'm beginning to suspect they are actually minimally-legit scammers.

  Basic transactions are easy if you have access to the online services. For estate matters, good luck. I've been trying to transfer and sell shares for months. As with most online companies, first level service is iffy and anything other than basic transactions is difficult.Since I did not have online access, I had to use snail mail for my transaction. I sent the transfer paperwork to the address provided by the The Transfer Wizard only to later find out it was the wrong address. The paperwork was not forwarded. Where did it go? I was told it would be forwarded by the first level service representative. I had to resend it which was not simple because it required getting another Guarantee Medallion Stamp.
