I had bought and paid off my extended warranty, my ** went out. I found the cheapest shop that can remove and replace the ** and the Lines for under $1800. This warranty will only pay $560. That is to include buing an Air Compressor and Labor. I dont believe you can buy a new ** Compressor for under $560. I should have looked into the fine print when the dealer sold me this extended warranty. Royal is not a good company. I even called to canx whatever is remaining on the warranty and they told me that since the warranty has been paid off, there is no refund. Wow........ Stay Away.

The Royal Premium plan I purchased for $3,495 at the time of my vehicle purchase will only cover 1/3 of the cost of parts in ****** and all labor estimates came in under what 2 separate repair shops quoted. The shops are using the industry standard, but Royal can't explain why there is such a large discrepancy. Additionally, they would not cover ANY control arm or ball joint repairs, stating they were a "wear item", despite them being listed explicitly in the covered items in my contract:"PREMIUM COVERAGE PLAN:Component groups **** are covered.13. Front and Rear Suspension: Upper and Lower Control Arms, Control Arm Shafts and Bearings, Bushings, Torsion Bars, Mounts and Bushings, Upper and Lower Ball Joints,"

I bought a 3 year ****** mile Royal warranty from my KIA ********** when I bought my 2015 KIA ******** I paid exactly $2,175 for the warranty (I regret my purchase). I recently had to take my car into the **********,which they stated I would need a new transmission (cost for new transmission $3,200). The ********** tried to file a claim through Royal and sent in pictures of the existing faulty transmission. The claim was denied by royal on the basis they saw rust on the old transmission, for which they are stating it was environmental issues that caused the deterioration of the transmission. This is bull and a complete cop out. Royal denied the claim for the fact that the warranty was bought for $2,175 and they did not want to pay for a $3,200 transmission. I am going to make the KIA ********** aware of how crappy this warranty company is and how they are bringing down the reputation of a good **********. I wish I could get the money back I paid for the warranty from Royal. I am going to leave a negative review of this company on every review site I come across for this company.

I have reviewed your complaint and the pictures your repair facility has provided us, and pictures show the axle shaft / AWD spines in the transmission are stripped out. They show rust and corrosion. Your contract states under WHAT IS NOT COVERED: 5. Any Breakdown caused by: collision; fire; theft; vandalism; riot; explosion; lightning; earthquake. overheating; freezing; rust or corrosion.

This warranty is completely useless. For those considering a warranty with Royal, please read the contract as it states WHAT IS NOT COVERED: 5. Any Breakdown caused by: collision; fire; theft; vandalism; riot; explosion; lightning; earthquake; overheating; freezing; rust or corrosion; windstorm; hail; water; flood; normal wear and tear; a sludging or gelling condition; carbon build-up or contamination; contamination of fluids or fuels; and misuse, abuse, negligence, and/or failure to protect Your Vehicle from further damage when a Breakdown has occurred. In essence, for those with a Royal warranty, you're going to have one h*** of a time getting this company to cover any repairs. The fact that normal wear and tear on parts is not covered, is enough deniability for this company to not pay any claims. What's the point of an extended warranty, if not to cover circumstances where parts fail due to wear and tear. A person is better off saving the money they would potentially pay for an extended warranty for when a repair is needed. ****** learned on my part.

i am attempting to get an electrical part fixed in my 2007 Lexus GS 350 using the Mepco/Royal Admiinistration contract that I have paid for but have never attempted to use until now. My trunk won't open using the key fob and I am not strong enough to open it manually, The Pleasanton Dealership I took it to for the repair tried to contact this company to arrange paiyment for the potential services to be rendered and first Mepco/Royal Admiinistration gave them the runaround, refusing to come up with an agreed upon price. Then I called them myself again and was told that their records indicated a discrepancy in the year of my car (2007); they had it listed as a 2014 year and they said there was a discrepancy on the *** # for the car. I was told to send in my current registration and they would fix it. I did, called them back and they said, yes, we have; that's fine. But now there is a discrepancy on the mileage from a repair I had done on the car from ******************************, a company that just went out of business completely! I said, now what? They said we think ******* may have mad a mistake on your mileage., so just give us, via email, any repair on the car you have had done, including oil changes, between Dec. 2019 to Dec. 2021. I asked what are you challenging about the mileage? Response: there' s just a discrepancy, I said, Friday, you asked for "my current registration due to a discrepancy on the *** # and year of the car", Today you're now asking for proof of mileage from anybody who has worked on my car; I told them I would send in records from Oil Changers since I use them regularly. I asked them, tomorrow, what is it going to be that you need in order to pay a claim for the services stated by this aftermarket warranty that I have paid over $3100.00 and never requested a claim for until now!? The Lexus Dealership already doesn't want to work with them; they think I've been scammed. That's a lot of $ for me w/ no remedy, except excuses! Help!
