This company is sloppy and careless. They take no pride in their work, have no attention to detail, and left my home worse than the found it after they came to de-lead the house. They ruined my woodwork by having no skill in using a sander. They grinded into the non-wood windows. They sanded into the plaster wall. The estimate said everything would be sanded down to a smooth finish, primed and painted with two coats of semi-gloss. This never happened. The doors and ***** are rough and not painted. They filled in the gaps where they gouged the window frames with caulking that is rough as well. The supervisor sees his crew doing things that are against the lead-removal law and doesn't correct them. They left piles of lead paint chips and saw dust behind causing my child's lead level to triple from exposure to increased lead dust. They left both bedroom closets full of saw dust from sanding down the doors. My child had a lead level of 4 prior to the work and 12 after. In the month since DPH came to the house and made them reclean and redo much of the work his lead level has dropped to 7. Lead poisoning had life-long consequences to a small child, and they are acutely responsible for his move from exposed to poisoned. For which they have taken no responsibility. When I have pointed out the work that was not completed or the poor clean up, I have gotten a lot of excuses and bold-faced lies. They came to paint my house and didn't lay down the plastic which is required by law to catch the paint chips. There are paint chips scattered all along the outside of my house, meaning my child is no longer safe to play outdoors at his own home. When I asked them about this they said they didn't want to burn my flowers and that they tried to pick up as many of the chips as they saw. They have no concern for the actual risk lead paint poses, and shouldn't be allowed to do the work. DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY.
