    My wife bought 4 devices from ***. The marketing was predatory and fraudulent. A. The results promised by the company were not achieved in Patients. FRAUD B. The income advertised by the company was not achieved because they don't work as advertised. FRAUD C. The cost of the devices is ridiculous for the results they deliver. Those s*** boxesaybe worth 20K combined not 1M. They are severely overpriced D.. They single handedly bankrupted my wife's practice . If you are out there reading this and considering buying these devices DON'T DO IT. THEIR WHOLE SALES FORCE BELT NGS BEHIND BARS

    I am writing to file a formal complaint against BTL Industries and its sales and financing representative, **** *******, regarding misrepresentation and lack of support that has led to significant financial and operational challenges for my family practice.I am ****** *****, a Family Nurse Practitioner in *****, ******, operating Essential Health and Wellness. My office was approached by BTL Industries with an offer for their Emsella chair, a device for treating incontinence. Despite financial struggles, Mr. ******* assured me that the device would be a sound investment, offering a significant return on investment (ROI). He guaranteed **** marketing support to help acquire patients, ensuring an income of $10,000 to $15,000 per month.These representations were key to my decision to sign the contract. Mr. ******* also assured me that detailed marketing, training, and the ability to bill insurance were included, making the device an all-inclusive addition to my insurance-only practice.However, since signing the contract and receiving the device, it has not been financially viable. No marketing support has been provided, and my repeated attempts to contact *** since September 2024 have gone largely unanswered. Additionally, I have filed multiple formal complaints through **** website, all of which have gone ************** December 2024, I reached out to *************** the financing company, to explore refinancing or returning the device. **** ******* assured me in January 2025 that he would work to buy back the device, but as of February 3, 2025, Ive received no response despite multiple attempts to follow up via text, phone calls, emails, and additional BTL complaint inquiries.The failure to honor agreements and the lack of communication have placed my practice in a difficult position. I am concerned that **** practices are predatory and harmful to small businesses like mine.

    With witnesses the only negotiation was with Btl and at no times with any financing companies. We were told clearly that the only collateral was the equipment and no other responsibilities if not successful, but now e did nd out that the equipment and any other money owed with financing and they are going after me for it They also used blatant bait and switch tactics by giving us a piece of equipment but on delivery the changed the deal and made us finance as well which was not in the deal When I called Btl they showed no remorse and willing to help and even though they were the only people who negotiated this deal

    On 02/10/23, I entered into an agreement to purchase Emface for their bus tour promotion. The price of Emface was quoted as 350k. I was told that a Cellutone came free with this package. I was supposed to receive an SEO package that brought 32 WARM leads each month, a billboard on Hwy 74 or 701, a marketing campaign that included them bringing leads to the bus tour. When my onboarding info came, the Emface and the Cellutone both were given loan values. I questioned this with the regional sales manager and he directed me to proceed and they would fix it. Once the onboarding was complete, I have never heard from him again, despite multiple emails and texts. I am not able to get insurance values that properly match my equipment, creating an insurance nightmare. They haven't been able to provide the WARM leads that they stated to coerce me into the purchase agreement. They backed out of the billboard. BTL Aesthetics is a fraud. I have demanded the equipment be returned for months now under breach of contract and unfair trade laws and they have refused. In 20 years of practice, I have never dealt with such an unethical company. I hope to have this matter resolved and warn future medical providers from doing business with them. Similar situation for a neighboring doctor. They are very pushy when they come knocking and will tell you that you will lose the promotion and leads when they walk out the door. I was concerned because I was only 7 months in business. They will tell you that they will be providing these new patients to the practice with their tailored success program giving incentive to partner with them but it is a lie. In addition, I was not allowed to trial the medical device in my practice prior to purchase. My patients are not happy at all with the results. They can't provide the warm leads and it doesn't provide the results. I want this device returned, my money refunded, and to never do business with this company again. No trust.

    3 months ago purchased equipment and was told detailed marketing and training were all included,they have not completed any marketing or training and today called me and said we could not attend training that was promised.

    I am a physician in Internal Medicine solo private practice in ************, *******. My office was approached by an aesthetic device company with equipment that could be of benefit to my patients. In this case, the equipment was used to treat incontinence. The aesthetic device company in question is BTL Industries and the device is the Emsella chair. *** introduced me to ********** ************** LLC. **********'s role was to provide the financing for the device which *** would provide our office. Representatives from both companies misrepresented the terms of the agreement to me during their presentations. Both *** and ********** made it clear to me that the only collateral and the only property at risk in the case of default was the repossession of the machine itself. It was explicitly stated to me personally that there would be no personal guarantee attached to the agreement. The issue was discussed in detail and addressed directly. There was no confusion on this point. This representation was the key factor in my determination to sign the contract.Since signing the contract, the device has proven not to be financially viable in a small practice setting, so I have attempted to return the device as was promised to be the sole remedy in the terms stated to me by the *** and ********** representatives. ********** has chosen not to receive the device and the default of the contract has led to a lawsuit against my practice and myself personally.Both ********** and *** have not only misrepresented a key term of the contract but also engaged in questionable marketing practices such as high pressure, time-sensitive incentives and refusing to give me the time needed to perform due diligence with regards to their offers. I am concerned that my experience with these companies is not an isolated incident but represents a pattern of marketing their device and financial services which is predatory and fraudulent.

    Our office was solicited directly by *** with a Business Opportunity as defined by FS Chapter ******* et seq. The solicitation was for the purchase of body sculpting equipment which was represented to us as going to make us tens of thousands of dollars. The Vendor was going to supply training to office staff to use the equipment and help with marketing services to make the new venture grow. We were never presented with any documentation or prospectus. However, the salesman presented us with multiple documents for signature. We were not allowed to review the documents, but we asked repeatedly for copies before the salesman left the office with out our knowing it. It took until September 9, 2022, to get the vendor to provide copies of what documents were signed. Much to our shock the same day that the documents were signed the loan for $350,000.00 was funded by *********** which we believe to be a captured entity.Proof of effectiveness has been avoided for a new technology; no guarantee has been provided in case of legal action.We have tried repeatedly to cancel the contract but to no avail not withstanding the requirements of Chapter 559 dealing with Business Opportunities. We are now faced with a debt of $350,000.00 for equipment that we cannot use in the practice and did not want absent the high-pressure sales tactics of the *** salesman. The Company never complied with any of the requirements of *******,809 or 811.and we were "Hood Winked by this Company and salesman.

    I have not heard from the business in response to my complaint. Since October 6th, 2022, I have informed both BTL Aesthetics and ***********, by email and I have CC all officers from both companies who used to communicate with me before, about my complaints with 5 other agencies (State and Federal). I have not heard from them and no email acknowleging these steps of looking to resolve that matter. I have let them knwo that the contract that they managed to get my signature was illegal based on FTC regulations. And I have also pointed to them the terms of reference from FTC that prove to them they were acting illegally. Until now they have not trying to stop their fraud.
