A load was delivered to good will broker wasnt good with factoring company had a F rating RED FLag ask me know we will pay dont worry and asked how do we get our credit score up me not paying attention Im thinking they are a new company bam i takes the load ask when will they pay he says may 23rd remind u this is 3 weeks after we already did load ok 23rd comes ***** is no where to be found and nobody knows anything and they hardly speak English its June 5th and ***** has been on holiday vacation for over 3 weeks some accounts team never replys nobody knows ***** number and now nobody answer the phones Im filing on they bond!!!!!Initial Complaint

This place is a scam, you are told a price also told in writing the price will not change, day of pickup im told price is going to almost double because there is no trucks available near where car is located, **me to findout later from trucking **mpany that actually hauled my car that this was not true they were in town only 25 mins from my car looking for.a car to obtain to fill the trailer. Then findout from trucking **mpany that *** told the trucking ** to lie to me and tell me that they had to go out of thr way to get my car... In August I signed a contract for JMD Logistics, to transfer my car from Okanogen Wa to Clarks Summit Pa, $220 up front for the deposit. So I texted them on September 24 to see if they can come a week early. *****, the manager text me back Mam pick is scheduled for the first week of October. So on October 1,4 and finally on October 6 he answered saying he may not have a driver to get my car. So now Im leaving in a day and I dont know what Im going to do about my car. I have boxes that were going in the car(because Im aloud 100lbs) I need to get shipped to home. If they told me in August they may not be able to get the car I would have try to sell it. So now Im scrambling to see how I can get rid of the car. Im on my way to a car dealership. They made my life a living h*** for 4 days. If they were just up front with me I wouldnt be having this problem. I asked for a refund of $220 and he was telling me it takes days to go into my account. I told *****, you took it out within minutes you can do the same thing. I needed the money to ship my boxes. If they were just up front that there maybe a chance they cant get it, I would of tried someone else. The fact he lied to me on September 24 saying one was scheduled and now nobody can come I feel that is not the way to treat customers. I have to say I was not nice but you depend on a company that says there coming and they knew they were not but keep your hopes up. I am at wits end. I would have gotten the car sold for $4,000 . I have a copy of the invoice but I dont know how to screenshot it. If you would like me to email it I would be glad to do it.Initial Complaint

This company is stealing peoples money. They arent really a shipping company as all the reviews no ones cars are getting picked up. They are charging deposits and after paid you can only get 50% back. That is what this business is. They have not shipped a vehicle. Tried to get you to pay more even though they know they arent ever coming.Customer Answer

I entered an agreement to have this company, JMD Logistics, ship my car from ** to **. They quoted $700 and asked for a $200 deposit which I paid April 24, 2024 via credit card. Estimated shipping date was *** 21,2024. They did not communicate with me after April 24th so with just a week to go I contacted them and said I was getting nervous and wanted them to confirm my shipping details. They said there was a trucker strike but they were confident they would find me one for the quoted price. *** 17, they called to tell me they found a driver for $1800. I said that was unacceptable as they quoted $700. They called back to say they found someone to do it for $1600. I repeated that price was unacceptable. They said they made a lot of calls and that was the best they could do. I asked them to refund my deposit. They initially said they would refund half, and when I told them I wanted the full $200 they said they could probably get the manager to agree with that. Since then I have heard from the company, and there have been no refunds posted to my credit card. Now, the company does not return my texts or emails.Customer Answer

I put a request in for a quote for shipping my daughters ******** from ****** to *************. I was contacted by a representative for JMD Logistics who informed me that the cost was $550 to ship the car. He sent me a contract and payment request for $150.00. I accepted and signed the agreement! That means $150 to the broker and $400.00 to the driver. I was contacted by approximately 15 other broker companies. Once I told them that I had accepted JMD Logistics business, I was informed that I needed to look into their business practices because they would up the price of the transport later. I then contacted their representative and he assured me that everything would be fine to just trust him. The day of pick up the representative contacts me an hour before the truck driver is to arrive and informs me that the transport fee has gone up. The broker now wanted me to agree to pay the driver $600 to pick up the car. I explained to him this was unacceptable and we had a signed agreement! He said if you want your daughters car to be picked up you have to agree to the price or the driver will not pick it up! Based on the time frame and my daughter leaving that evening for ************* this was the only way to get it transported in a timely manner. My daughters vehicle was transported to ************* for $750.00 instead of the original agreement of $550.00. I feel this is an ongoing tactic of this company and I was warned to late. Their website does not allow for people to leave honest reviews and its very deceptive about their past performance. I actually question the location and address of this company because everyone I spoke to was of middle eastern descent! The guy I spoke to about their practices actually called me something in a foreign language and hung up on me. I kept all text with the representative for JMD Logistics!Business Response

We apologize for any inconvenience you've faced, But there is everything mentioned in the contract that the quoted price is an estimated price generated by our system from various load boards for your route which may change due to uncontrollable circumstances. And if you don't like the price you can cancel the shipment at any time before we dispatched the order .we have a signed confirmation from your end that you are ready to pay $750 in total ,we have never forced you to take the service from our company .now it's been a month you have got your car and have taken our services .This doesn't make any sense to put a complaint after a month , if you were not satisfied with our service and price you can cancel the shipment at that time .But i will still apologize for the inconvenience cause to you.Initial Complaint

A Zelle transaction through my ***** Fargo Account was used on March 14, 2024. From this account, I transferred the sum of $150.The foresaid amount was part of logistics fee. JMD had sent me an estimate to transport my vehicle from ************ to ******* for $740. They asked for a deposit of $150 which I sent. The transaction was canceled by their agent; as he informed me, he had undercharged me for the job. He wanted to now charge me $1050, to which I declined. We agreed upon the refund of my deposit fee.I have called JMD offices several times; and while they have assured me of sending the money, they have not kept their promises.Customer Answer

The delivery company JMD Logistics, voided the first contract to charge me more for expedited shipping and then they breached the contract
