We call Progressive to have our van towed, they despatched a flatbed truck operated by Agero. Tow truck driver did not secure our van properly, resulting in $5000+ damage to A/C lines, fender, condenser, radiator. Agero has denied our claim based on very bogus excuses, including that there was pre-existing damage (I don't know how they determined that) we did not have good photos and that the van was towing another vehicle (it was not). They are a bunch of scammers, if I could give them a zero star I would.

********** is needed for this company. After reading all these reviews my hopes of finding a resolution is slim. After waiting 5 hours for the closest tow truck in the middle of a popular town in my area, the first tow trucks hydraulics werent working and they had to leave and get another tow truck. Waited for even more time for a second truck and the second truck and driver literally damaged my truck while trying to load it. I have a witness who saw it all happen as well. Agero has denied my claim and that this ever happened basing it off of the tow trucks words and that the truck was already damaged (yes, thats why I called the tow truck. I wasnt doing it for fun.) but the tow truck made my repair bill go from two parts verified by a mechanic that would cost us $500-$800 to repair to needing the whole tie rod replaced and it being a $1900 bill. Im not denying any original damage. Im asking for some acknowledgement of the fact the tow truck did damage my truck and some help with the bill as my bill is 2-3x as much now. I was never expecting such a crazy thing to happen and now Im seriously jaded from ever using this company ever again. Their customer service for claims barely speak English and I believe does not understand what Im trying to communicate. They refused to even call my garage or my witness. Taking my words vs the drivers words (why would he fess up when his job is on the line??) Im not sure how this is even legal. This is infuriating to deal with and I would highly recommend to do your research! If you have State Farm- they use this company for roadside assistance! Im seriously contemplating switching insurance companies so I dont have to deal with Agero ever again.

USAA and Agero are a match made in h*** Avoid them at all costs. Our recent experience caused us to get a new insurance provider that specifically does not work with Agero. We required roadside assistance and contacted Agero through ****, they were unable to find a company in network to come recover our vehicle because none of the tow companies in our area want to work with them anymore. We were told to call on our own and find a provider; then submit a reimbursement request to get what we pay out of pocket back. $600 later we file the claim, only to be given $200 and told that the service call out fee isnt covered. We call both **** and Agero and are told the same thing. So we ask them if you had been able to find an in network provider would be have been billed the remaining $400 or would you have covered it. To which they replied, no we wouldnt have billed you. Cool, thanks for s******* over your clients USAA and Agero. If I could give you zero stars, I would.

On August 17, 2024, I forgot my keys in my car. When Agero came out, the guy spent 2-3 hours trying to open my doors on both sides of the car and he never got it open but he damaged both doors causing cracks in both sides and the paint chipped off. It took a bystander to come and open my door (which took him less than 5 minutes). Ever since then, water has come into my car on both sides through the damaged areas whenever it rains. Even though I immediately reported the damage to Agero, they never offered me financial help or anything to fix what their employee damaged. This company is so unprofessional that my car is still damaged.

If I could give them zero stars, I would. Daughter broke down on interstate at 10:30 PM and called USAA/Agero. Agero sated tow truck would be there in 90 minutes. After waiting 90 minutes, treid to call tow company assigned and they would not pick ip the phone. We tried to call Agero and was never able to get a person but a phone selction list. Daughter spent all night on busy insterstate. She was able to get the tow company at 5 am who stated they never got assigned the tow from Agero. USAA dump these clowns now!! I had a similar experience with Agero some time ago.

Agero is the contracted roadside service provider for ****. The initial quote time was 45 minutes. After an hour of waiting, it was updated to an additional 30 more minutes. Ultimately, it took them 2 hours to show up for a jump start. Just as an FYI, the employee offered to install and change my battery for $239.00. He added the same battery was $10 less at *********. I told him no thank you and that I would go to ******. He said it would be $45 cheaper at ****** and they don't install it for me. I said no thanks. Went to ****** and the appropriate battery for my car was $135. I understand that this is how they make additional revenue, but they shouldn't misinform the customer into a wrong buying decision.

This company arrived approximately 30 minutes after the estimated time. I saw the driver pull up to my car, take a picture of it and drive to the end of my street. He parked there for a minute and drove away. I was standing next to my car right after he took the picture while he was in his car. He saw me looking at him and still drove away. I received a message saying "the driver said your car was unlocked upon arrival." He never even checked and I was locked out all night and they did not pick up any phone calls. I am still locked out my car and it's the next morning.

Agero offered me %40 of the estimates that I took time out of my day to go and get on their behalf. Only to have a third party adjuster in a completely different state tell me what labor rates for my area are. My truck rolled off of their tow truck and into a telephone pole. If they are going to tell me how much they are willing to pay then they should at the very least send and adjuster out to see the damage instead of me taking the time to get estimates for them. This company hides behind third party adjusters and hopes you will just take the amount that they offer.

In the last two hours, while needing a tow, Agero has sent two companies out in regular vehicles to try and jump start my car, even though that was not what I needed. Then on my third call, I was essentially blamed for requesting a battery jump. I cant attach the photo here, but I have a screenshot of the request I made over the phone that shows a tow destination, but with the service being a battery jump, input by the agero rep. **** it make sense. I find its just easier to pay up front for your own service and have **** reimburse you.
