  I called this professional after it was recommended by ***** Home Services and I had two plumbing repairs that needed doing. The plumber was here for two hours. He charged me over $1000 for only one job, a replacement of an outdoor hose spigot, This job was estimated at $312 by Anji Home Services and on line between $250 and $350! The second repair was never done. He would not provide an itemized bill showing labor and material charges. ***** said I had to give a negative review and see if he would adjust the bill, but he never responded so a little while later I checked his website and the review had been taken down. I called the office and offered to pay him $350 plus the $50 deposit Id already given him and he refused to accept the offer.

  I had a plumber come to replace my faucet and add shut off only. I was charged $900.00 he was there for 2 hours. I feel taken advantage of. I spoke to my neighbor and then called for 2 other estimates based on the reaction of others when I told them how much I was charged. The other quotes were ****** and ****** . I'm so upset. I had no idea what the cost was and can't believe they took such advantage and padded the price to that extent. The kicker is I purchased the faucet separately so that was just the cost of the valve hoses and labor. If I could give zero stars i would. I am a woman who does not know anything about plumbing or the costs and to think I was charged double for this project is so upsetting. Not to mention I live in low income housing and money isn't in the abundance for us to begin with

  We came to your home on Monday 9/18 to assess your situation. At that time we quoted you the exact price to replace your faucet, (2) emergency shut offs, and supply lines. On Wednesday 9/20 two days after you agreed to the quote we returned and completed the replacement using the faucet you picked out. You signed and agreed again to the quote before we started the work.We use upfront pricing providing ALL our customers the EXACT price PRIOR to beginning any work.All our customers are each quoted the same price for the same job no mater their address or any other personal differences.We knew nothing of your dissatisfaction until this review.   Mr. ********************** repaired a gas leak that we discovered. The leak was pinpointed by ***. Grid tech, who then turned off the gas on Nov. 23, 2022. The Mr. ********************** tech had to remove a section of the sheet rock in our finished basement to expose the gas pipe for the repair which was to tighten the loose pipe. The job consisted of pulling the permit, fixing the leak, contacting the inspector and securing connecting pipes to the meter after the inspection. The job took the ********************** tech a total of 2.5 hours. The work was finished adequately, but at a cost of $ ******* or $745.14 per hour. Upon questioning one of the agents, the response was "we charge by the job, not by the hour." Since there were no parts to replace, the job was all labor. We feel what we were charged was beyond outrageous and the company price gouged us because we were desperate and did not want to go another week or two before getting to our heat back.

However I believe you have lost focus of the facts.We quoted the job and received your approval PRIOR the starting the work We obtained a permit Tested the line Identified the leak location Opened the wall to access the gas piping Completed the leak repairs Re-tested the line Scheduled an appointment with the town gas inspector Returned (2nd trip) to meet the inspector Re-tested the line for his approval and received his ok to turn gas back on.Reconnected the gas meter and turn on gas We received your payment and satisfaction signature for the EXACT amount quoted This was not a 2 hr job
