      I would give 0 stars. I think I am getting scammed by them. ******* said they cashed my check for my auto loan and *** said I did not make my payment and can't find where my $520 went!!! On the phone for over an hour (with *******)and they refused to let me talk with a supervisor.

      Crappy bank, that lies and mistreats their customers. Dont do business with DFCU, worst bank ever.

      Is this a financial institution or a horror movie?!? I have been a customer since at least ****, and my late husband much longer as DFCU used to be Polaroid Employees Credit Union. I am appalled at the lack of accessibility, conflicting information, and very real threat I might lose my home due to their issues with my HELOC. I have had automatic payments set up for years. Every month it seems, suddenly the payment is received late, is not enough to cover the elusive yet constantly increasing required amount which figure they never share with me!!! Each and every of the MANY, MANY calls I make is dropped after 20 minutes on hold. This has got to be deliberate!! HELP CONSUMER PROTECTION AGENCY!! HELP SEN. *********************************

      I was just looking up Direct's tel# and was shocked to see anything negative written about Direct Federal Credit Union. We have had 3 home mortgages with them over the years. When the rates dropped, we remortgaged with no closing costs and no points. It was a win-win situation. We have also had several car loans through Direct. Their rates were always lower than what was offered by the dealership. We have never had any problems with Direct whatsoever, whether on the phone or in person. They are very accommodating and don't seem to suffer from the bureaucracy that bigger banks have.The only complaint I have is that I just called and was kept on hold by the call center for about 10 minutes, but so what. I'll just call back another time. To me, it means that they have so many customers that they are helping.

      My wife took out a loan from DFCU 3 years ago to buy a car. They have since conducted an audit and apparently dont have the title. Now theyre making us track down a title, after no due diligence from their end of confirming they actually received it. Terrible customer service and they basically said we need to take out a personal loan if they cant get it? Calling the BBB. Dont do business with them. The agent **** also told us they cant call the dealership themselves to get it, even when it was their own mess up and poor process. We just called the dealership and asked why didnt the bank call them to inquire. 9/13. Adding to this review. DFCU lost my proof of insurance. My insurance provider called them and they instructed USAA to upload proof to mysinuranceinfo.com. DFCU didnt provide me a reference ID nor did they tell USAA I needed one. I called DFCU and they told me I needed to call the vendor or send it to DFCU. I sent the proof to DFCU through secure messaging, but now someone responded and said they cant support and I need to call my insurance info.com.
