      Trip Advisor is the absolute worst company I have ever dealt with. I purchased a one day trip in *********** from ****** to ******** with a ride on the gondola to Mont Blanc. Even though it was an independent tour, there was no there at our departure point. We had to purchase additional cable car tickets once in ********. And when my friends and I requested a refund - they hid behind another tour operator telling them that they could not get their money back from another operator. Unless Trip Advisor has just declared bankruptcy, it is convenient for them to hide behind someone else. They have my money. How they disperse my money to others is not my business. I bought a one day trip with them. They are the company that is consumer facing and should stand behind the trips they promote and the tour operators that they hire. I reached out to them 4 times and am disputing with my credit card company but want to make sure that no one purchases a trip from them moving forward. They are happy to take your money but good luck getting it back if anything goes wrong. PS - Not even worth one star but you are forced to give something.

      Trip Advisor,The ************** has Business Advantage Listing ID *********** Hotel was sold on 06.10.2022 and the new owners took over.The Trip Advisor was informed much before the sale to cancel our listing and not to charge us the monthly subscription which is $ ****** per month.We were charged for the month of June and also for July 2022.We had informed the Trip Advisor well in time but we were still charged.We had a phone talk and emailing with ******************************,Customer Sucess Executive, not to charge us since we had sold the hotel.He said very plainly that we should ask the new owners to have the listing and until such time they buy the listing he cannot do anything and cannot refund our money.The new owners should be asked to buy the listing from Trip Advisor and its the job of Trip Advisor to sell their product to the new owners.This is black mailing asking previous owners to force the new owners to buy the listing from Trip Advisor.If they take the listing we will not be charged otherwise we will go on paying. What a bad business the Trip Advisor is having with us and we had the listing for many years and what treatment we are facing from Trip Advisor and from their Executives.Hope the matter is resolved with the cancellation of our listing and to refund our money of two months.The issue should be resolved by Trip Advisor.

      I made a Hotel booking back in November 2019 for a Hotel in ****** ****** for Father's *** in June 2020. In May, I checked the booking again and noticed that it was cancelled, without my approval or consent. I contacted the Hotel and they said that the booking was cancelled by the Travel Agent (Otel.com, owner by Metglobal). Numerous attempts of contacting the website, based in ****** were made. No success.I came across this company because it was advertised on Trip Advisor. I trusted Trip Advisor but unfortunately I was misled into this website that was a scam. The website showed as many of the ones available for me to make a booking on tripadvisor, it was advertised there. Now the website no longer exists and Met Global can't be contacted. If you ****** otel.com scam, there's even posts from many years ago, for example in 2016, that talk about many issues this website had, still, it was advertised by tripadvisor back in 2019. I was wrongly misled by tripadvisor, I trusted the websites were vetted but clearly it did not work. I filed a report with the *************************
