      I booked a tour for my daughter's birthday in ***** to have a good time as a family with 2 adults and 2 children, and it ended up as a nightmare. The reservation was made online, in USD. The day of the tour 30 minutes before I told them that I would be 10 minutes late because the metro was delayed, I called them 4 times and they never answered me, I emailed them 3 times and finally they answered me, telling me that unfortunately my tour was gone and that I should go their office to make another time slot, they never mentioned that I would have to pay again and the worst thing they charged my children as adults. they did not respect my reservation of 4 people, with 2 adults and two children. I explained to them that on the voucher they sent me they never mentioned that they were going to overcharge me for just being 10 minutes late in fact my guide had not left yet, they just sold my tickets to someone else lying to me that my guide had left when they were still there. I have proof of the emails where they told me to go to the office to see pick up time for my tour but they never mentioned an extra charge, I called viator 5 times and they have emailed me that they can't give me a refund of my money that I paid with them online. I PAID TWICE WITH VIATORTRIP ADVISOR $230.96 USD JUNE 29, 2022 AND THEY MADE ME PAY IN EUROS $146.86 on July 1st I am looking for a way to help me to get back the money they charged me $230.96 on my credit card it is not fair that as a tourist you travel to have a good time in family and these companies give you a terrible time. I will never use VIATOR again or recommend them to anyone. Terrible service!!!!

      We took my daughter to ** for her sweet 16 and purchased tickets through this website. Every single venue has issues with the tickets and the night we decided to go to the *********************, we missed the entire tour bc we spent over 1.5 hours on the phone with customer support trying to get the tickets to scan so we could enter the tour before they closed. The customer service representative kept asking us over and over if we were at the right building and on the right floor-after we repeatedly told her we were calling from the ********************* customer service office right in front of the ticket scanner. This representative then told us a number to call and they would be able to help us get the tickets to work. It was the phone we were calling from!! Horrible horrible experience and we missed out on the one thing she really wanted to do. To top it off, they are refusing to refund us! I will NEVER use or recommend this company to anyone!
