    I used Comfi.com for several years quite successfully and was happy with their reliability and customer service when I had an issue. This year, however, (2022) the company has eliminated it's telephone customer service and forces customers to use it's "live chat," What a joke. There is little to NO response from the various people who pretend to be helping. There are LOOONG waits for initial contact as well as for replies to questions asked or problems explained. Their customer service has been reduced to NO customer service. I dread having to ask for the refund of my money they still hold because after reading other's reviews, I don't think I'll ever receive it. Buyer beware as this company has deteriorated to SCAM status.

    I have had an account with Comfi.com for 15+ years. I refilled my account with $50 on Sept 17th, 2022. My account balance on Nov 15th was $18. Today, I have found out that my account balance was $0.02, which changed to $0.00 a few minutes later. Comfi's **************** call-center is no longer available, but only chat, which does not send you a copy of your chat transcript. In chat they asked for my pin to check and disappeared for 40 minutes. Then someone by nickname "****" came back stating that "In accordance with updated terms, the balance is valid for 60 days unless refilled. Your PIN expired. To keep it active, you need to refill it intime". That was the last communication form them. They ignored me after that.I have never received Any notification about Terms changes or when these changes taking effect. This is plain fraud!I am sure I am not the only customer Comfi have recently robbed on "updated terms" pretense. Hence them disabling their call-center phones.In addition to all that, I am finding calls on my Calls log placed to ****** and ******, which ***** failed to explain. I did not call there!

    Like some of the reviews here say, they let pin expire even though I still had balance, which they zeroed out. This was their practice all along but I stuck with them anyway (for years I might add) because I could always call and they would always reinstate my balance. However they recently changed their customer service practice, there is no longer a phone number to call and a live person to talk to. They now only offer a chat option, and it is unresponsive. Today I sat waiting for someone to respond to me for 50 minutes and ***** You can't cancel chat and restart it. Time to look for another calling company.

    It used to be a decent company to purchase phone cards from. They used to have live personnel who you can call and get helped. I was actually happy with the service I received. Now, the customer service number has a repeated message in a dull machine voice to chat online. Online chat asks you for email and then basically never gets back to you. At that point, the company can be treated as scam and avoided

    I use this service for many many years so that my elderly mom can communicate to her friends in the old country. Comfi used to be great. Rates were reasonable, process was flawless, I never had a complaint. In 2021-2022 something broke. There was fraud on the account twice where the whole balance was drained within a day or two with calls to Africa and ******* and their system showed calls as made from my home number, although the card is used only by my mother. Then every time I reload balance, their invoice calls me by someone else's name even though my name shows properly on my online Comfi account. Twice the balance was not credited to the card, one invoice said "thank you for your payment of $0" after I paid $50 via PayPal. Today the whole card worth about $60 was deleted from the account so no calls could be made. They cancelled phone support, and the only way to reach them or chat or email, which is not what my mother can use, so every time there is an issue I have to step in to deal with Comfi. Their support fails to explain what causes these problems and fails to fix them. Although they credit money back, but now I can no longer trust that this service is there when my mother needs it. It is no longer a seamless solution for my mom's calling needs, but rather a game of chance - will it work? will they credit my re-load payment? will the balance be stolen?This is very disappointing.

    Terrible customer service. This could be a scam. I purchased a $10 card through this website today but showed my balance as $0.00 on my account though I called PayPal for refund. Their rep. **** asked me to wait for 30 minutes without even reading or responding to my questions. I think this is a scam and will never go back on their website to make any purchases.

    ComFi.com allows pin numbers to expire, even though you have a balance on your account and NO MAINTENANCE FEE. They do not even send you an alert when the *** less card is about to expire making difficult to get an extension. When I called after getting to nowhere with the so called agent, I asked to speak to a supervisor and my request was denied. So, if I have money in my bank account and neither withdraw money from my account nor add more money to it for several months, the the Bank is supposed to wipeout my balance? No WAY! What Comfi does is simply steal!
