      No room service provided and did not find out until arrival. Could not cancel reservation without being charged. Full price is expected to be paid by customer but business does not provide full service. The lodging price is over $100 more per night to comparable lodging business within a mile, closer to ********************, and **********. Best Western corporate does not get involved if the property owner does not want to provide a refund of any amount. I asked for a 40-50% refund on my room for three nights. In todays world of messaging, email, and the telephone the facility should let customers know the time of booking services are not available such as room service cleaning and trash disposal. The Best Western Acadia has signs and a letter provided to you at check in that services are compromised due to lack of employees and COVID 19. This is in MAY 2024 not two years ago. Other lodging options in surrounding area are not dealing with this and providing full services. I had no way of canceling my reservation without being charged for my stay once I arrived. The Best Western policy is to hold the customer responsible yet they have not responsibility to uphold basic hotel services?

      We were charge amenity fees that was not disclosed at check in, we were charged 250$ for smoking in our room when we have medical records that stated we have never smoked and the manager ******** was ok with the fact we would never stay there again. Warning never satay at this hotel.

      I booked my room at 10 am arrived at 9 pm to check in and was told by workers at the desk they were on a 16 hr Shift. I didnt check the room and just went out drinking when I returned at 6am (checkout is 11am) there was a man sleeping in my bed! We went to the front desk and management told us they would have to clean a room and it wouldnt be ready until 8:30! We asked for a refund and was told no!
