We are owners of a studio time share apartment, last week of August, in ******, *****. Shortly after we assumed ownership of the timeshare, the management changed to **** Hotels. We noticed that the facility was not maintained properly and the onsite manager, ****, was rude or unresponsive to our concerns. We have learned from those working for the ********** that **** Hotels is actively seeking a buyer to purchase their Lakefront access to **********. The management is not transparent with timeshare owners. Further, last summer their neglect of the property was demonstrated by a refusal to repair the toilets in the lakehouse and a delay in putting out the raft in the water. At this time, the property will be downgraded in value. We are asking for a payment of $5000.00 to assume ownership of our timeshare since the value has been downgraded and will , in the near future, continue to lose value. All efforts to reach Mr *** ******* to discuss these matters have been in vain. He will not return a phone call or email.Customer Answer

We booked a hotel room at StayBridge Suites in ******************** for September 25, 2024and received an email confirmation indicating that the room was prepaid and confirmed. We let them know we would be arriving at midnight and provided our flight information. When we got to the hotel, we were told that they had overbooked and had no rooms available. They did nothing to try to help us and we had to drive an hour at 2 in the morning to find a new hotel. The night clerk said that it was a policy of **** Hotels to overbook rooms. We were assured that we would be given a refund for the price we had paid but 3 weeks later no refund has come through and repeated calls to both the hotel and **** Management have not been returned. I am filing a fraud complaint with my credit card company. **** Management is clearly not above board and defrauds customers.Customer Answer

I made a reservation for two nights; May 3 & 4. $161 per night.Upon arrival they required me to sign a paper agreeing to $161 for the first night, but $220 for the second night. On the night of April 8th, 2024, I booked this hotel to spend the night. I was placed in someone else's room (a common problem with this hotel) and after that and seeing how disgusting this hotel was, I canceled my booking and everyone I talked to said I would receive a refund in 2-5 business days. I have yet to receive this refund and they are ignoring my messages and hanging up on me when I call. My confirmation number is ********** and I would like a refund at the very least, like they said would happen.Customer Answer

I own a Timeshare at ********************* Inn. Week 29 unit 610. I have had an purchase and sales agreement dating back to October in place but the transaction has been held up due to failure of ********************* to release the estopel to the closing agent. Repeated emails and phone calls to ************** **** have not been returned. The responsible employee's have filled email box's so at this point i cannot even leave messages. I will lose this sale due to ************************* incompetence in this matter. We are absolutely appalled by our most recent stay at this property (******** Hotel Inn and Suites). The sheets and towels had stains on them, the shower curtain had a large blue stain on it, dirt in front of the shower, etc. We initially looked past these issues because we just wanted to enjoy our vacation. We didnt complain until a front desk agent, ***, walked into our room completely unannounced. No call, no text, not even a knock on the door before he just barged in! We felt our privacy was completely violated. We called the hotel and asked for the manager, *****. *** answered the phone and knew immediately why we wanted a manager. He apologized and explained that there was a leak on the first floor and had to check the units on our floor to see if there was an emergency maintenance issue. We appreciate the apology, but we still feel that a call or text should have been sent. Or at the VERY least, a knock on the door before just walking in! *** stated the manager was not on the property at that time, but he would be in the next day and *** would explain that we would like to talk to him. The next day we visited the desk and spoke to *********/*********? She stated that she did not know if the manager, *****, was going to be on the property that day. We explained the situation and she seemed just as concerned as us about the situation. She stated that she would text the manager right away. We waited days and did not hear back from anyone. Upon check out, we visited the front desk again looking for *****. *********/********* again did not know if he was going to be on the property that day and simply stated that it was an emergency, so they had to enter the room. We completely understand that the room had to be entered in case of a maintenance emergency. We are not upset about that. We are upset that we were not contacted or notified. We did not even receive a KNOCK on the door. A front desk agent just walked right into our room unannounced!Customer Answer

We visited the Anchor **************************** about 3 weeks ago, upon arrival our room smelled horribly bad with a musty mold smell, and carpet was wet. I became ill, and was feeling this way for over a week. The manager refuses to respond to my text messages, as I indicated I want to speak directly to owner, and get a refund. I had to buy a candle and room spray for nightime, and had to *********** my clean clothes when I returned home, as the smell was so bad. There are numerous complaints about this issue on ****** reviews as well, going back a couple years. This is a Public Health issue.Customer Answer

I checked into this hotel around 2:30 am after a concert on 5/20/23 . I was looking forward to not driving 1 1/2 hours home and sleeping in. We were woken by staff having loud conversations outside our room, which was across from the laundry area. The loud conversations lasted over 20 mins. My daughter went to take a shower and there was no hot water! Neither of us were able to shower before checking out. There was also a known issue with our rooms door handle, making gaining entry very tricky. After spending $479.19 for one night, I was very disappointed in my stay. Apparently there were several rooms without hot water as I found out at checkout. The clerk was compiling a list of affected rooms and the manager would issue a partial credit. Ive contacted the hotel several times regarding the above issue without a resolution. Messages and calls are not being answered. I would like at least the 15% credit offered due to no hot water and possibly more of a credit on the room due to the aggravation of still trying to resolve this issue 3 weeks after our stay, and after multiple attempts.Customer Answer

We called this hotel to stay there on our way on vacation. I spoke to ***** to reserve the room there was nothing mentioned about a hold-on for damages. We were leaving out of the country and didn't want our money on hold. Upon getting there the hotel was not up to standards with dirty sheets etc. The lady at the desk ****** said she was reimbursing ** for the night. The hotel still charged **. I have called several times and sent 2 emails with no response. We were charged ****** for a night we didn't stay because of the quality of it and were promised a refund.Customer Answer
