    I contacted AW Garage Door Repair because my door wasnt opening and closing correctly. A tech came out on 6/20/23 and said the door was too heavy for the tracks and they needed to be replaced. He fixed the door and suggested an opener which he installed. The charge was $2998 but included a 20 year warranty. I wrote the check payable to Netanal ***** as directed. On 8/25/23, I couldnt open my garage door and my car was stuck inside. 3 or 4 days after I called, they sent a tech who fixed it. He was going to charge me over $1k, but then called the office and was told it was warrantied. He was a subcontractor and not aware the door had been installed only 2 months prior. On 11/15/23 my door wasnt fully closing. After numerous calls to AW, a tech called and said hed be here on 11/19 in the AM. After a couple more calls,the tech finally came at 5 PM. He worked on the door and said the springs were different sizes which caused the problem. He changed the springs and presented me with a bill for $1353.62. I told him the door was under warranty. He said, weve never been here before. I said are you a subcontractor? He insisted I called the wrong company. I called AW, and the dispatcher didnt know anything but hed have a manager call me the next day. The tech said he worked for a company called APlus and insisted that I pay him at least half. I gave him a check for $700 payable to ************** as directed.I called AW back to inform that the tech required I pay him $700 and I wanted to speak to a manager. He promised the mgr would call back the next day. I called several times the following day to no avail. I tried to put a stop payment on the check, but was told it looked like it had been cashed. The manager never called me back

    In May 23 the cable broke on the garage door they came installed new system with 10 years warranty. The new cable fraying in July 23 two months later and was going to break again called they came out replaced the cable. They said the warranty was only on parts not labor which was not mentioned when installed. Now the same cable fraying again and ready to break. They came out and didn't repair it and said they would get back to us. I have emailed them and text and called and response.

    I had two garage door openers installed by this company in July with a "Life time warranty for the new system" but the company is now avoiding our calls and texts after the garage door stopped working.

    I have not heard from the business in response to my complaint. I submitted the complaint to the General Attorney as well, as I believe it might be a garage door scam. I have the person's license plate number. Is there a way to find out how to contact them that way? I'm very upset about this. ***************************************************************************
