1 starI had the worse experience with Peter Pan bus lines. I purchased a return one way ticket for my daughter and I leaving from ******, ** at 7:40pm to arrive by 8:15pm in *** for a transfer at 9pm on another bus heading to *************,**. We waited for a very long time bus never showed. Another bus line came and I explained to them that I feared missing our transfer and 2nd bus. They were going in the exact same direction and driver offered us on free of charge. This was a lil after 8pm giving much time to reach 2nd bus. The traffic was so heavy we reached much after 9pm. Once I got to the other transfer we were told our bus left and could not hold any longer leaving us stranded in a New city late at night with no way to get back home. There is no customer service number everything is by email. I explained what happened and request a refund and the point of contact stated that gps showed bus arriving on time and even waiting until after 9:16pm refused a refund and kept a whole $85 I paid for our tix. We had to purchase tix with another company to get home the following morning!! Worst customer service and experience traveling I have ever experienced. And keeping a customers money who was left stranded not missed your bus but stranded because the first one was extremely late is horrible! She offered half a refund to a Peter Pan account to use at a later time! Why on Earth would I ever take my chances with this company again!!!Review fromShowkat K

1 starI had a reservation/ticket on Peter Pan Bus to go to ******* from ************************* on February 16th, Sunday at 11:45 am. I arrived to ************************* at 10:15 am on ******* flight from ***************. I was at designated bus stop gate 110 at terminal C at 11:15am. I waited there until 12:30pm until I saw Peter Pan bus which I had to top the bus by waving the bus driver, He told me that he is not picking up passenger due to bad weather. Two other bus went by until 1:30pm without stopping. Finally, I bought a ticket on on ******** and ******** bus ticket, arrived at at *******************. I saw there are six Peter Pan buses standing idle, no drivers. I asked Peter Pan to refund, they denied stating all their bus was running. They even told me that bus driver said there was no passenger at terminal C on that day. This was a total lie. I would not recommend Peter Pan. Do not use Peter Pan find alternate bus line, you will receive far better service as I received from ******** and ******** Bus.Review fromHarrison D

1 starI have been using PPBL as my primary mode of transportation when I travel into Boston. When I first started using their services in 2017, they had great customer service, friendly drivers, clean busses, more routes, less lines, less fees, and fair prices. This is no longer the case. Over the past few years this bus line has declined significantly. Drivers can be incredibly rude and forceful, explaining unnecessary information for MINUTES, something which was never done before. They now charge fees that previously were never present. Prices have almost doubled and busses seem to have zero improvement. Not clean, and cramped. My bus driver, operator Bess (?) might be spelling her name wrong. She was our driver from Boston to cape cod for the 5:15 bus on 8/24/24. This was the most unfriendly, rude, annoying bus driver I’ve ever come across. Doesn’t know when to be quiet and stop over explaining redundant policies. Veiled threats about pulling over the bus if XYZ happens and getting the MA state police on board, mentioning there’s a hidden camera ON THE BUS so we have to watch our actions. Not only this, but the bus BROKE DOWN on the highway on cape cod, not once, not twice, but three or MORE times in the middle of the highway. Operator did not want to continue to drive due to safety issues but upon getting on the phone with management, they told her to get to the next stop. The bus could hardly go up the hill. We were going maybe 15mph on the highway. Causing traffic. Dangerous situation. THEN - the driver BLEW a red light while oncoming traffic was coming from another lane at a high rate of speed. The passengers were audibly shocked. This was the most unprofessional, terrible, painstaking bus ride I’ve ever experienced. Unsurprisingly, this is just a culmination of past bad experiences with this company as they’ve continued they’re years long decline. This “4th generation owned company” (don’t worry - the bus driver will repeat it 100 times) is in need of major help.Review fromEvan A

1 starBus from ** to ** was so late that I had to buy a ticket on Megabus (which was on time!). Peter Pan still refused to give me a refund because they don't do refunds unless you pay an extra fee when you buy your ticket. Absolute trash; do not book with them.Review fromDenise P

1 starDispatcher Leez (short, oriental woman) made a poor judgement call for the 10:45 am.bus leaving out of gate 75 to turn around and return back to terminal 35 minutes into the departure from PABT. The bus driver was not contacted until we were well on our way. She, the dispatcher, rude and unapologetic. .During my wait period there were NO announcements made or a dispatcher giving directions on the bus level between 9:50-10:;45 am. It is unfair for the timely passengers, who have commitments based on their original scheduled arrival time, to be inconvenienced. How do you compensate those who missed their flight or connecting bus?Review fromShaontae W

I departed from ****** transportation center Mon. 3/4/2024. Arrived at the bus at 9:00am. The bus is scheduled to leave at 9:15am, bus # ****. I said good morning to the bus driver and showed him my ticket and I asked the bus driver if I had to get off the bus to transfer to another bus to go to *** since thats my final destination, Ive never taken this route before so I was confused on what to do and proceeded to asked the bus driver for directions. The bus driver who has an accent m, is about 6 foot 4, 300 pounds started yelling and shouting at me telling me that I am a stupid black girl and that I do not have any common sense, the PeterPan Bus driver said to me how common sense is not common in black people and that i clearly dont have any common sense at all and proceeded to verbally attack me with racial slurs and tell me I can not get on the bus and that my ticket is wrong. I was flabbergasted and horrified on what just happened, I was seriously confused and lost to what had just happened to me. Im 5'3 and 100 pounds. I asked the bus driver who towered over me could he read my ticket and receipt that reads from ***************************** to *************. This bus driver literally shouted and yelled at me in front of a line and bus full of people, still telling me how I do not have any common sense. As I was being verbally attacked by this PeterPan Bus driver in front of a bus full of people, I just stood there and couldnt believe what was going on, I still tried to show him my ticket and he kept refusing to read it and even started to scan other peoples tickets. I literally couldnt believe what was going on and the racism I was experiencing from this PeterPan Bus driver. Even while scanning other passengers tickets, the PeterPan Bus driver continued to call me black girl with no common sense. I told him how dare he talk to me like this and who do he think he is. I felt embarrassed, belittled, and discriminated against. SincerelyPeter Pan Bus Lines, Inc.

1 starI had two rickets from ******** to ****** and back. Road to Boston was fine but round back it is something terrible. Driver Ms.L start screaming on passengers from the beginning I felt myself like in concentration camp under control. People cant say word loudly because screaming started. My trip was spoiled because of driver. I cant understand how this company could let the driver speak with all passengers in such rude way. Not recommended!Review fromJeanne M

1 starI cannot believe that this company is still in business. I have made the trip from ****** to ******** by bus many times. I close Peter Pan this time, due to bus schedule. Never again!! The ride on the 11am from ****** on 8/30 was driven by a driver named *****. He was the rudest man I have ever seen, he was constantly yelling at people. But he definitely found the time to stop at a rest area and smoke a cigarette as well as speak on his phone, holding it. The trip back on the 31st left *** a half an hour late, hit a ton of traffic, and then pulled into the station to change drivers. Ok so I think they are limited by hours on the road, but the bus was met by a police officer asking for the drivers license as well as the buses registration. Whats up with that! Meanwhile I have been on this bus for over 4.5 hours and still have 2 hours to go. Do not take this company, not one driver has apologized! Never mind the lack of respect with luggage!!!Review fromChristopher F

1 starI moved to ***********, MA in 2017. My family lives in NH so I take the Peter Pan or Greyhound from *********** to ****** and *** from there. From the start of COVID until now this company is a disaster. There are significantly fewer routes and they in no way line up with ****** ** ***. You are either 20 min late or 3 hours early. I can never get a route from *********** to ****** anymore. 15 min late then a 40 min ride from *********** to ********, 40 min layover, but again because they are late it becomes a 60-90 minute layover making me over an hour late for anything I can catch at my destination either to NH or from it. You have a 50/50 chance the driver you get is rude for no reason. Even when your trying to ensure your at the right gate for the right bus. Because every gates screen in *********** is broken, the buses don't always have anything on their ticker signs, and even if they do they are frequently incorrect. The screen in *********** ***** Station is wrong. Said my bus was gate 20 talked to the CS rep inside he says 18 (He was kind, helpful, and correct). Many of the buses charging outlets don't work at all, the internet is frequently so slow it barely loads articles in a timely manner, and the sanitation on these busses is really bad. I don't know when they get completely cleaned but I've taken the first bus of the day and it's already gross. I have taken over 30 trips on Peter Pan since 2017. It has gotten so bad I have started seeing my family less because of there incompetence a 6 hour trip takes 12 and I spoken too in a disrespectful ful manner sitting on a sticky bus and the cost is just way to have for what I am getting in return.
