      Thank you for bringing this to our attention as we take these matters very seriously. The account in question was canceled and recalled by our client (National Grid) on 10-6-23. Associated Credit Services is no longer handling the account and the account is closed with our office.

      Thank you for submitting your concerns to Associated Credit Services, Inc. This is the first communication we have received from you regarding this matter, and we would like to understand why you believe you are not liable, so we can properly assist. We did request the validation from the original creditor and it was mailed to you on 9/21/23; you should be receiving it soon. Once you receive this, please review the details and contact us directly to discuss further at ************.  In addition, we did submit an update to *********** to mark this item as disputed. If we are able to determine that you are, in fact, not liable, we are happy to submit the deletion request, however we need to speak with you to obtain more details of your claims to make this determination. We look forward to working with you to achieve proper resolution.

      Thank you for submitting your concerns to Associated Credit Services, Inc. Please understand that we are third party collection agency working on a contractual basis for our clients. This is the first request for documentation we have received from you and are happy to request this from the original creditor. Once we receive it, it will be mailed to the address we have on file. If you prefer for us to email it to you, we ask that you contact our office to ensure that you receive the proper opt-in email so that we may do so. Our phone number is ************, and we are open Monday through Thursday 8am - 7pm EST and Friday from 8am - 5pm EST.  After reviewing the documentation, if you still believe you are not liable, we ask that you contact our office directly to discuss so we may escalate as needed.  As a precaution, we have sent the request to the credit bureaus to delete this tradeline. This can take up to 90 days. If you do not receive this update (deletion) please contact us so we may submit it again.
