I placed an order for pick up on March 25, 2025. The order was for six grass fed steaks and they had a deal for about $45. About 15 to 20 minutes after placing the order I received another email saying the brand that they offered is unavailable so they will substitute some pieces with a different brand which I approved of after approval. The price increased significantly to the point the deal wasnt a deal anymore it became rather expensive. I immediately canceled the order online, then called the customer service number in the email to confirm which I was told I would get a refund within 3 to 5 business days. It is now May 3, 2025. Over the last 39 days I have reached out to the store and corporate customer service numerous amount of times. For the first three weeks, I kept being told my bank was denying the refund and I should wait 3 to 5 more days. Now their excuse has changed that I picked up the order and thats the reasoning for not receiving a refund. I never picked up this order and there is record of me calling customer service immediately after I canceled. A $45 deal turned into a $69.94 charge and i NEVER received any product. But in my bank transaction history the original charge for $69.94 that went through was at 1:40pm, there is an additional attempted charge for $69.94 at 5:35am which didnt go through because I didnt have money in the account at that time so that charge didnt make it through but they actually tried to charge me twice for the order I never picked up. I literally gave this store $69.94 for no reason and they wont give it back.Business Response

I've bought a Savory Prime Fully Cooked Hickory Smoked Butcher Ham Bone(15.2oz) from Star Market for my dog this Monday. My dog is adaptive for these kinds of bones since I bought for him twice a month and he is already 5 years. But he got ileus, vomit, and bleeding diarrhea after eating the bone. Normally, bones for pets should be hard enough that they can use for fun and just grind their teeth, or they should be fully cooked so that they can be digest easily. But this product from Star Market is seriously dangerous for dogs. It caused my pet took X-ray, and did e**** yesterday at ********, and started bleeding diarrhea, then we sent him to a whole-day urgent care for further inspection, he was serious dehydration. I have not been receiving my clipped coupons correctly for months the last 2 trips off by over ***** I was not provided with complete information the last 2 times I called customer service and I was never told in the store how to resolve this I have had this problem for the past 6 m needing to go to service counter after shopping and I'm supposed to know all the ways I was overcharged I feel these are fraudulent business practices even when I clip the coupon they don't apply and on 3/9 and 3/1 they had wrong signage up I told service counter when I went back to get my receipts fixed 3 days later the sign was still up I took a pictureBusiness Response

When I rang up the 2 packs of ************************** they came out to $8.99 each; this was at odds with the sticker price advertising. THE ENTIRE STOCK was shelved on the floor where the sticker price advertised ************************** for $3.29 each. I assumed the $8.99 pricing to be a mistake + showed the self checkout clerk a pic of the price sticker of $3.29 & he acknowledged this, but told me this was an error on their end.I him that Id like the price adjusted + matched to the 2 packs as they were advertised and I would be on my way. He told me he could not do this so I asked for his manager.This is when ***** became involved. Upon presenting her the situation, she went to confirm what we both had just told her. When she confirmed that this was true, she and another coworker started removing the stock & and the price tag from the shelving area. All while leaving me standing there with an unprocessed transaction, waiting for the price match adjustment for the items.I called out if she could please tell the self checkout agent to adjust the price, seeing as how she + a coworker were removing the items off of the floor. Asgik came over to the self checkout and informed me she wont give me the price match adjusted to the advertised price because they made a *************** not the price. I politely told her she is required to honor the advertised price. She told me she didnt care & then voided my entire transaction, effectively having wasted my ********** MONEY FOR NOTHING.I asked for her name because I wanted to report the incident, but she refused to provide it. I asked her why she couldnt tell me but she ignored me. So I went to customer service & asked for her name; at this point ************ came over. I told him Id like to her name (Asgid) because I am going to file an incident report. I ordered a pick up order on Oct 27, 2023 for $54.91 (order number ********). But due to the weather, I canceled the order ahead of time and contacted support for a refund. They said it was gonna be processed within 5-7 business days. So I waited 10 days and i never received it so I contacted them again and waited 10 days. However, the same thing happened. It has been 90 days and i followed up with them 5 times without getting any results.Business Response

On August 17, I placed an order for groceries to be delivered between 8 and 9, and was paid an extra delivery fee to have a one hour delivery window. When I received an email from the store telling me the delivery would be after 9, I called Star Market to cancel the order. I was told that the order was cancelled, and I would receive a refund for the charge. On August 18, I called again because I received no follow-up information. I was assured that the order was cancelled, and I would receive an email in 5-7 business days. I called again on the 25th and was told that the 7th business day was the 28th, and I would receive the refund by then (I asked and received emails from customer service repeating this promise but no correspondence from the store). When I did not receive the refund on August 28, I was told the company could not do anything until August 29. When I called on August 29, I was told that the ticket was still open, and I would have to wait 3-5 business days. Unfortunately, I do not have high hopes that I will receive my refund in 3-5 days, and I am disappointed in the companys inaction and refusal to remedy a situation that was its fault in the first place.Business Response

On multiple occasions where I have shopped at this star market location, I have been told that restrooms are unavailable for customers. There is a clearly labeled customer restroom area that in my experience is always locked. Tonight I made it a $200 purchase at star market, bagged my items, and then asked if I could use the restroom After shopping for over an hour. I was told simply the door is locked. I replied politely asking Ive been shopping for over an hour, isnt there an expectation that I should have a bathroom to use at a major supermarket? At this point the employee got rude with me and said I dont have the key so I dont know what you want me to doThis is a massive Star Market in the heart of ******. Most people, such as myself, take the train to and from the store. Trying to make a full grocery run and being denied bathroom access, all while spending hundreds of dollars seems inhumane to me.Business Response
