I ordered a product (a Hat) and the item never arrived. When I complained, it supposedly got delivered but I never received it. I complained to the email address provided and the individuals stated they would send out another hat. I again waited..I followed the tracking number provided and after almost 30 days I complained again and then once again, suddenly, the item went from a "independent carrier" to suddenly delivered. It was never even shown at a local distribution center.When I again complained, I was told I would receive a refund for just the amount that would cover shipping. I complained about that being unfair as I was not the one responsible. I was then told I would receive a full refund but I had to wait up to 25 days as the finance **** was having issues.I think you can see where was going. All delaying tactics.I never received a refund or the product.Actually, all I really want is the product.Customer Answer

I HAVE HEARD FROM THE BUSINES but I was not satisfied with their response. They denied any responsibility stating the site I bought it from purchase was a fraud account. Maybe so, maybe not, but they should still make the purchase good since they could be in conspiracy with the fraud account just to steal unsuspecting customers. As far as I can tell they are doing nothing to go after the alleged fraudulent account and are therefor a partner of that account.
They are scam artists and the only resolution they can make is to send me the appropriate item I ordered.
I will continue to tell my friends and associates not to buy from this company.

In February of 2025, I ordered the Guinness hat in XL just like the other 15 I own, and when it arrived it was far too tight. Upon measuring it it is more than 4cm too small, making it closer to a XS or a S than an XL. Despite being labeled an XL it was several sizes smaller. When I reached out via email, I was told there was nothing anyone could do and that I could either get store credit or a partial refund. When I insisted on a full refund I was told that is not possible. Why should I have to lose money because I was sent a defective product?Customer Answer

On 01/13/2025 I purchased the Grateful Dead 60th Anniversary Boston Scally Cap - Patchwork Edition from the Boston Scally Cap company, costing $51.48. I also ordered a matching patch for the hat I now have no use for so my full order total plus shipping was $68.75. I measured my head for size and chose the correct size for that measurement from the companies own fitment chart. Upon receiving the hat I tried it on to find it to be far too tight, so I filed for an exchange. This hat was a limited release so I was worried they wouldnt have any of the next size to process my return, but I figured since they were in stock when I filed for the exchange one would be held for me. Once I shipped my return I received an email that they do not hold inventory and did not have the size I wanted to exchange for. No where in the filing of the exchange was I made aware of this possibility. I again figured this was no big deal and they could just send me back my original order and I could try to make it work. I was wrong again and they wont send back returned orders and gave some weak excuses as to why. They informed me that my only options were now store credit or if I wanted a refund I would have to pay for the return shipping and a restocking fee or $8.95. I have argued for a full refund without any fees charged or for them to send me back my original hat, but they refuse to acknowledge my requests. I have essentially been forced to accept the store credit in an attempt to possibly repurchase my original hat when it gets restocked, though with the companies average response time being over 24 hours I fear I missed out on that possibility also. From reading other customer reviews under the hat on there website Im not the only one who has dealt with this same scenario. I would like the hat I paid for, and should still be given the store credit for the original purchase amount after dealing with all this hassle. I paid for an order that not only didn't arrive, but stated that it was in my 'town sorting facility ' for several days, but yet, my town doesn't even have a sorting facility. My town is less than a thousand people. How could my package be here for a week and not arrive? Clearly this is a scam and criminal charges should applyBusiness Response

I placed an order on December 14th. I paid for expedited shipping, the package never arrived. It was order number *******.I have reached out to the company multiple times and they were not responsive in ensuring my package got to me. They stated to reach back out if package did not arrive by 12/26. Monday you the arrival date should have been no later than 12/22. I have reached out and let them know that I have not received my package and would like a refund. The response was can you please confirm your address. Order # listed below (*******) was initiated with Discovercard payment. On 10/19/24, I rec'd email from Boston Scally that my order arrived-it NEVER arrived to date. I sent them an email told them I had no product!!!! Two-three days later I got envelope from **** postmaster stating they found label without any package attached. The only way to reach Boston Scally is via email-no other options, their posted tel # is inactive! After several emails, Boston Scally told me "I was responsible for investigating USPO!!" I immediately initiated a charge back. My bank, ************ has been sent ALL related documentation on 4 separate occasions. Their email system only accepts certain docmuments. Bottom line: I want a full refund for my order that was never rec'd! Boston Scally refuses to communicate with Discovercard. I noted online(BBB) that there have been over 20 complaints for similar infractions by Boston Scally for Non-delivery of merchandise. Subsequently, I file this complaint with BBB.Initial Complaint

Placed an order on 07/05/2024 to Boston Scally. I received notice that my order was delivered, but nothing was received. When I went to the tracking it shows it was delivered to an address in ************ and I live in **********. I double checked my original order, and all my information was correct. The only way to contact Boston Scally is via email so I sent an email on 07/11/2024 asking for a resolution. Never heard back from them so on 07/15/2024 I sent another email and still have received no email back from them, so I sent a 3rd request. This 3rd request I sent them a message online through their website under their contact us section on 07/18/2024. As of today 07/29/2024 I still have not had one response from them. I did send another email today and another message through their contact us section of their website, but I'm not going to hold my breath. I would like to either have them re-send me what I ordered to the correct address or a full refund.Initial Complaint

Purchased a hoodie from this company and within two times of lit wear the hoodie developed a large hole on the front of it by the main pocket. I reached out to the company in regards to this and they offered no compensation or ability to exchange the item, even though Id only owned it for 10 days at that point stating that since it was no longer new and unused, they can no longer offer any sort of compensation or replacement. I purchased a hat from Boston Scally as a gift for the neighbor boy across the street. I received a delivery notice while I was out of state and thought he received his hat. Now, nearly a year later I find out from his mom he never received the hat. After tracking down the delivery notice I discovered it was delivered to the wrong house a couple of houses down the street. I talked with the people there and they remember receiving the box but since they didnt recognize names and didnt know what it was the sent back to Boston Scally. After multiple emails and texts Boston Scally repeatedly refuses to resend the hat or refund my payment. This is not acceptable.
