    Heat for my tenants apartment stopped working so I contacted Akian plumbing, On 11/27/2024 a plumber came to my house and diagnosed a failed flue vent, he rigged it open so we could have heat until they could replace it. on 12/2/2024 they replaced the flue vent. on 12/6/2024 my tenant informed me the heat was again not working. I contacted Akian plumbing and was told somebody would be out, but didnt show up, a couple hours go by and I get a call from Akian saying nobody could look at it until 12/9/2024 so I looked at it myself and found the flue vent had failed and was not opening, I purchased one from a local pluming supply and plugged it in and the boiler immediately started working. I then replaced the vent and the boiler has been working normally ever since. Akian then came by on Monday 12/9/2024 and picked up the failed part. I want a refund for the work they did $815.00. I had no choice but to make the repair myself, it was getting late on a Friday and couldn't leave my tenants without heat for two or more days.

    Company offered multiple estimate quotes. Settled with one their team suggested. HVAC immediately began over heating - they cut directly into the unit to release heat. Fast forward 6-7 months and now its summer. Central Air does not work. Unit freezes over. Unit has been inspected by a 3rd party and determined to be over sized and will never run properly. Akian does not respond to phone calls in a timely manner (over 24 hours). I would like an engineer to come on site and redo the calculations to officially determine what the problem is and then have Akian get the system to run properly. Would like to be a priority to the company and not put on the back burner.
