On June 10th the drivers met me at *******************, ********** to remove a wardrobe. I had to give a deposit first in the amount of $100.00. I was told if they couldn't do the job, I would get my deposit back. *** stated that I refused to sign a waiver per his mover, which is a lye. They never presented me with no such document in order to move the wardrobe. At this time it's still sitting in my old apartment. They couldn't move it because of the nails in it and didn't want to damage it.

We did arrive to the customer's home on June 10th to move a wardrobe cabinet.  Upon arrival, we learned that the cabinet would need to be dismantled in order to move it from it's current space.  We asked the customer to sign a Release of Liability due to the fact that the wardrobe had nails in it.  The customer refused to sign the ROL.  At that time, we could not proceed with the move.  There was no other cost to the customer except the $100 deposit.  The move could have been completed if we had had a signed Release Of Liability.

Better Business Bureau:I have reviewed the response submitted by the business and have determined that the response does not satisfy or resolve my issues and/or concerns in reference to complaint # ********. On June 13th I called ******* who is a mover for Two Men and Truck and notified him that he was on speaker and my personal care assistant was in the car at the time , *******  .

******* admitted that were was no Release of Liability brought to the site where the wardrobe needed to moved . And he also admitted that he did state that my $100 would be returned.  ******* was a witness to this and ******* knew that he was on speaker. I have a witness that they never brought documents to my house.

If there was a document I would have signed it , but I do want my $100 put back on my credit card.

Businesses and Customers should be civil, courteous and polite in their responses to complaints. It is important to remain professional and productive when participating in the BBB complaint process.

I used two men and a truck for a long distance move from Boston to ******* in June 2023. I paid over $5000 for this service. One piece of furniture was broken which was a shelving unit for shoes (******************************************************************************************). The bottom drawer is entirely broken out of the unit and all of the k**** are also damaged and now sitting sideways. I contacted the company by text initially on 6/28 who told me the general and operations manager would reach out to me but I never heard from them. I subsequently have called their business who told me an email address to contact for the manager which I did on 7/7 with pictures without a response. There is no way to file a complaint on their website or otherwise contact them. I also have a video of the damage showing that the drawer is now swinging around but there isn't a way to upload that.

      Hi ******,

We do apologize, but your text message did not reach our corporate office so there was no follow up.  We do appreciate you bringing this to our attention.  It is now my understanding that the refund has been handled.  Thank you for choosing TWO MEN AND A TRUCK
