      HPS Management is horrible. Natis ****** is the community manager @ Paddock Point in Laurel Maryland and is not competent to manage. I bought a newly built condo/townhome in January of 2021. I never received ANY HOA information at closing or throughout the months (even with dialogue of other issues within the development, she never mentioned a delinquency) until A YEAR AND TWO MONTHS LATER, I received a bill for HOA dues of a little over 3k (never received any emails about establishing HOA, voting or elections). I emailed Natis, asked for a phone call to discuss. She never called but responded via email saying these are the HOA fees you owe. A week later I receive a letter from a lawyers office and was sent to collections. The lawyer was rude (separate complaint will be filed) after he insisted that I HAD to have received something in the mail because he had the documents. Well come to find out the HOA was mailing it to the WRONG CITY!!! Im sure they had to get returned mail, and still at that time did not make the effort to get in touch with me. The portal the entire year listed my balance as ZERO (have pictures to prove). So I was stuck with a 1k collections fee because of THEIR CLERICAL ERROR!!!! I paid the portion of the HOA fees, two months later the lawyer reversed my payment because I didn't include his collection fees. I went ahead and paid May and June HOA fees in portal but was blocked forJuly! So I know they were attempting to put a lien on my home, so I went ahead and paid the entire balance with an email stating that I have been disputing all late fees, interest and collections the entire time. And after further digging I found out that I was not the only one in my development that this has happened to! I am in the process of finding a lawyer to represent myself and the other homeowners this has happened to. So for anyone buying new homes with Ryan Homes or any other company if they use HPS Management for their HOA........RUN!!!!!!!
