    My sump pump had completely failed. Was looking for a plumber\hvac company that believed in quality service and not ripping off customers. They were able to get out to my home 20 minutes after I made the call. Sump pump was fixed in just a couple of minutes. Had a fun time talking to the guy, They also came back to replace my garbage disposal and fix the piping under my sink.
    I have a dead a\c unit, an old furnace and water heater that needs replacing. I'm hoping to get the same quality of service and reasonable pricing as I've had so far.

    Had W.L. come out to get my furnace started after getting oil delivered. They came the next day (which was great) however they were here for about 15 minutes and simply bled the furnace and started it up and I got charged $400 before a $75 "discount" which seems quite high for such a quick and easy service that required no parts or additional labor (and that wasn't an "emergency service call.") They claimed they weren't charging me the additional $99 service fee so I was actually saving money (Wow!) Like other reviewers, they never mentioned price before starting up the system. Last year when I had this same thing done it cost me $180. I appreciated their quick response, however they definitely overcharge for the services they provide.

    BEWARE! Had a W.L. Staton Heating & Air Service technician visit my home for an A/C issue. Ended up being nothing more than a blown fuse at the outside power source for the compressor. Literally took less than 3 minutes to identify the problem and replace the blown fuse ($6 part maybe?). After wrapping up the > 5 min repair, the tech tells me he's going to "waive the $99 service evaluation fee... to save me some money"; then hits me with a $339 bill to change the $6 fuse. Never mentioned price before making the repair. I reluctantly paid and then immediately called the business to complain. After repeated calls, all of which ended with the promise of having someone contact me to discuss, it's been over 2 weeks and I've never received any follow up nor explanation for this outlandish charge. Nothing short of highway robbery. Next stop: The Maryland Attorney General
