      Pitiful Billing services,,recently BGE Home changed their Name to Constellation Home back in the summer time,,since then its been PITIFUL,,the automated system says its always busy due to high call volumes they are unable to answer any calls when I have called them,,but they will continue to send billing invoices to me without FAIL,,without any acknowledgement of receiving or documentation that payments have been received by them,,even though I have closed all contracts for services. I have sent them USPS certified Money Orders as to keep a receipt of payments on my end,,when they deny or say payment wasn't received yet,,If I were to rate their services it would be -10,,I suggest to any one in need of a Home Warranty type of service provider,,go elsewhere,,do not employ BGE Home/Constellation Home at all.They will happily bog a customer down with add on coverages just to jack your monthly BILL UP. I can get better services elsewhere.

      The tech that came to my house - Justin - was excellent!! I cannot say enough good things about the service he provided, My dryer was making a noise (I though a coin had gotten stuck). He quickly identified the problem (a roller needed to be replaced) and fixed it. He also checked the other roller and saw that it also needed to be replaced. I truly appreciate that he took the time to completely fix the problem not just what I called about. Service like this keeps me as a customer of Constellation Home. I have never had a problem with billing and was a customer of BGE Home for over 10 years before they became Constellation Home.

      Had BGE home protection since we moved to Maryland 11 years ago. Everything was great until a couple months ago when I noticed our recurring monthly charge of $9.90 went up to $68.55. Noticed 2 direct debits from our checking account totaling $127.20. I tried contacting BGE Home which switched ownership to Constellation Home a little while back. Received an email response to contact BGE home (which that was who I contacted),,, called the billing department multiple times to find out "the billing department is helping with "emergency calls" and is closed". Emailed them again asking them to cancel my service and to tell them that I would be visiting my bank to dispute the charges. No response. So I Made an appointment with my bank and disputed both charges and put a stop on any further payments to them. The bank investigated and refunded the charges. Now I just got a bill in the mail for $195.00 from BGE Home, and surprise surprise, no one is available to take billing questions. What a shame!

      I switched my home warranty policy to BGE Home based on a referral from a family member. This has been the worst experience from customer service, billing, and the technicians. They have come to my home several times to fix our washing machine which led to a buyout for the washing machine. They tried to offer us $100 dollars, which I had to fight to get $300. I have never had this many service calls with the other home warranty company. BGE Home doesn't charge you a deductible because they probably cover it in the billing somehow. I'm currently on hold right now for a supervisor( who never can come to the phone so they put you on hold with the awful music and false advertisement for Constellation Home) hoping you will get frustrated enough and just hang up. I'm trying to solve an issue that has been on going and I have a technician waiting outside my home for service on my kitchen appliance. So they don't even care about the employees or the next customer that is waiting for the technician to come to their home. I have spoken to several customer service reps. and even had my call disconnected by Ami a customer service support supervisor and she never called me back to solved the issue. Still on hold with no resolution 25 minutes now. Tech still waiting outside my home!!!!! I will be looking into a better Home Warranty Service that believes in Quality Customer Service instead of LIES!!! and false advertisement. Oh by the way when I asked Ami(Supervisor) who was the CEO of Constellation Home and was told to look it up on the website. Please I need help with a win-win resolution. How does a company stay in business and treat consumers with such BADDDDDDD!!! service

      One of the bathrooms faucets got stuck and the Constellation plumber tech came. He requested to buy a new faucet and he will be rescheduled to come and replace the old one. Since this service was not covered under the policy, he specified three times the amount to be paid. Several weeks later, the technician came and replace the faucet (that left a leaking within the cabinet and required another visit) and the whole stipulated amount was paid. I received a Constellation/BGE home this this past Friday that charges the double of the payment!!! I have called BGE Home, billing department, five or more times per day, during three days, sent messages through the service department and nobody answers. What is going on with this company?

      Horrible. Do not use them. It might seem convenient to go with formally BGE but don't do it. I regret not taking the reviews seriously and not taking the time to find another company.

      We had them install a brand new HVAC. Eight weeks in and it stopped working. A coil is leaking. Obviously no QA done on the day of installation. No ETA or follow up about the arrival is a new coil or when it can replaced during one is the hottest summers on record.

      Their technicians are inept and rude. They have no idea what they are doing. One technician gave us a warning about our water heater and documented that we agreed to turn it off because of the danger. He never had a discussion about this with him but he checked on his ticket that there was a verbal agreement that we would turn it off. Never happened. Customer service is worse than that. Nobody ever knows what is going on. It is sort of like calling a outsourced customer service in India.

      Work is done at scale by sacrificing the quality of technicians and buying inferior parts wholesale from manufacturers.

      Constellation's predatory marketing practices include targeting BGE customers who falsely believe that paying an energy company equates to high quality HVAC installations. They also wrongly leverage the BGE brand recognition.

      Constellation should stop spending money on their glossy, fancy marketing materials that falsely advertise their capabilities and happy customers.

      They are a complete joke. Do not trust them to do anything in your house.

      I signed up in 2017, they came, everything was fine - the service itself was acceptable.

      Fast forward to now, and my Carrier Infinity touchpad is not registering touches in the corner anymore, still functional - but annoying.

      I call them up, and they tell me they are sending someone over.

      Then they call me back, and tell me it's cancelled - because my account has a balance on it and that I need to pay the balance before I can get todays service call.

      Then they ask me for over $2300 in "unpaid dues" to come do a warranty swap on a touchscreen. I ask them how that's possible, and they said they haven't received payment since 2020 and that they've just been trying to charge me ever since.

      This is likely the case, I don't handle the finances and I am not involved with the mail - but if someone doesn't pay for a service - you are supposed to CANCEL IT - not try to charge them for unpaid coverage in an emergency.

      I had no service calls for years and was unaware of an account issue, and then they get aggressive on the phone about how I should pay thousands of dollars for the privilege to then pay them monthly again (plus the $99 service visit cost) to fix a $100 part.

      My car insurance, my homeowners insurance, my Netflix, my everything - will stop services after some short period like 30 days after non-payment (and those things actually provide a tangible service, unlike insurance, so *** was spending no money on me for this period of time as I needed no service).

      You know who keeps trying to charge you like a spouse who waits to file for divorce so they can take half your pension?

      Scam-Lords like *** ****.

      Some resumption fee would be fine, but what really gets me is their insistence that they don't cancel a policy in case someone needs it - even if they don't pay for years - which is a signal for most companies to deactivate your account until a payment is made.

      You are better off putting $50 dollars a month in a savings account and having a coke and a smile.

      Do not use this company. I have canceled my home service plan more than once - and keep getting charged. Clearly this is a pattern with this company. Not only was the service done incorrectly with a new water heater install (that I had to pay someone else to correct to meet code requirements), they just keep charging. Customer services transfers you, hangs up, doesn't return calls or emails, or makes you believe it was taken care of - when it wasn't.
