      I hired Overland Van Lines for my big move from MD to NY. With Paul's sales representative, we went thru the list of my all items on the phone and I got a very good reasonable price. I was very pleased with how professional, and friendly they are. The movers came on time and had all equipment. They pack my stuff in no time with good care of fragile and valuable items especially. I was very satisfied. At the delivery point, they arrived very quickly and unpacked all furniture, and assembled it back the way it needs it. They were very careful. I think it’s my first nonstressed, everything-in-one-peace move. The bill was the same as we agreed with Paul which surprised me from my previous experience with other moving companies. I highly recommend Overland Van Lines. I heard they even store your stuff and deliver it to the location when it needs it. Definitely will use their service again. AMAZING!

      They lowball you on price. Ask for a 60% deposit and tell you to pay an additional 20% at pickup. They don't count 20% of the remainder, but 20% of the total again, so more money out of pocket than expected. They have had my belongings for over a month. Conveniently they do not have my original availability date on file, but they have my second, which they used for my time of delivery, prolonging my delivery. Apparently the company is ill-equipped to handle long-distance moves. I do not recommend using this company.
