1 starI enjoy reading the Baltimore Sun both in print and on line. However, I do not like the fluctuating prices that occur each time there is an automatic renewal. The quarterly renewal increases by $20 or more and then will go up again by roughly the same amount if you do not call the Baltimore Sun Customer Service number which, as has already been pointed out, is a call center overseas. They read from a script and eventually concede to reduce your rate. However, my experience has been that the reduction will not occur until the following renewal period so you are still charged the inflated rate for that imminent subscription period. I also question when I call to have my account credited for missed papers if it, in fact, occurs. It is extremely frustrating to have to play that game that is very much in favor of the Sun Group. I would love to lock in to a reasonable annual rate and stop having to play this game of quarterly subscription inflation. It seems I may have a new carrier so at least, so far, my papers are now being delivered consistently.Review fromMike B

As close to a scam as you can get! I signed up online to view an article and attached photo which it would not give me access too.Every time I tried to view it, it wanted me to sign up again. The only way to cancel is call during business hours which is to what sounds like an overseas call center with very poor english. I will never subscribe to them or any of their affiliates again. Be careful because the parent company appears to own several major city newspapers.The Baltimore Sun Media Group

I bought a house with an existing subscription that I CAN NOT CANCEL! I have now called four separate times to stop a subscription that I do not want, only for someone over the phone to tell me it’s been canceled, yet every week I get more trash thrown on my lawn that I DO NOT WANT! It’s insane that they can not explain to the couriers that there has been a change to the delivery! I am LIVID with the customer service I have received on four separate occasions. I think it's outrageous that you can't get delivery of newspaper that you paid for you have to call the Philippines to leave a complaint and no one in US can call you back I live in Baltimore and can't get my newspaper .This is not my first complaint . The baltimore sun should not be in business anymore because they can't deliver papers in a timely manner. When you try to call and complain the people answering the phone can barely speak english. Then on top of everything they turned me over to a collection agency for $24.17 for papers which i never received. If i want a paper i will buy one.The Baltimore Sun Media Group

They will review with your local Delivery Contractor to check that you will receive your Wednesday and Sunday deliveries. Since there are open routes and Production concerns causing delivery delays in the area at this time, your deliveries may be missed or received after standard delivery times. We appreciate your patience and understanding while we work towards a resolution to your delivery concerns in your local delivery area.
After reviewing your missed deliveries notated on this Complaint, your missed delivery complaints have been processed by Customer Service. Also, as our gratitude for being a valued subscriber, I had extended your subscription paid thru date for an additional two weeks. This has extended your paid thru date until December 13, 2022.
Customer Service will contact within next 5-7 business days to follow up on your home deliveries as your customer satisfaction is of our utmost importance.
